Lol boogie didn't start any rumors. He commented on what was already happening (banks posting a now deleted picture on his insta of him in a UCLA uniform and the fact he's accepted a shrine bowl invitation)

picked up 28 on signing day. Probably at least one more transfer taken before next fall.
there is going to be some trimming after spring.
I’d say the older less productive guys are where the majority of it would be, whether it’s transfers out, or just they are done. Mitchell, Warren, some of the db’s maybe a lineman or two way down the depth chart.

Banks primary issue is he’s an absolute idiot. If he could have stopped being an idiot he likely would’ve had more opportunities. Got a second chance after saying the “they kill cops where I’m from” which no doubt likely cost him opportunities at NIL money. Decided to be a distraction in the middle of a playoff run which ironically probably gives Banks along with the rest of the team even more nil opportunities. Seems like he also doesn’t seem to care much about class either. The fact that this is our defensive leader tells you the issue with our defense.

Warren won’t be ushered out. If he leaves? It’s his choice.

The effort by Mitchell in the Carolina game makes me really not give a damn if he’s back or not. I’m sure he was nicked up some but damn idk if I’ve ever seen a LBer look so disinterested in being on the field.

This is unfortunately true. And this definitely keeps the legit commercial opportunities away from him. We've had some guys get NIL money from actual businesses (not just the collectives like Spyre) and I think businesses likely view Banks as a risk.

Maybe he realized we were going to stack up on LBs for next year and just went through the motions. I thought he improved a bunch over the off season this Spring and actually played pretty well. He still had some problems with the slants, but a lot of LBs also do. I think an another off season would have helped him a lot. If he has stopped going to classes and his effort fell off a little bit, he may be able to sign as a free agent and have a chance to make a squad, but I would not bet on it.

Yeah, it's bad as a D guy and you keep showing up on so H candidates hi-Lites that roll all the time on SECN & ESPN. One good thing is I had noticed over last 10 years we as the Vols would show up on every Bowl team hi-Lite that we'd played that year. That has gone away this year minus a few games.
