Any word on Jasmine Powell. I know most posters are not as excited about her, but the way she can defend the point guard position needs to be noted. She is also a very good offensive player just needs to take less shots probably would she was a focal point of the Minnesota team they depended on her to do a lot of different things.

She is very much still in the mix,,,would love to play with her motown connection, but her decision doesn't hinge on that. She like the vision Coach K shared with her....I think we will get her (JMO)

One thing I find interesting is she visited Tennessee during the regular season. There are no more regular season games for her to visit other teams. Yes, she can visit others but it's odd not to go during the season to observe. Don't know if that's a good or bad sign but curious for sure. Come on down, Rickea. Join the LVFL sisterhood.

I respect players. I’m fully aware what talented players bring to a good team, good program, etc. However, it is not logical to suggest that one or two commits out of dozens are needed to take this Tenn team to the next level. First, you want players that want to PLAY on your team.
So I don’t understand the urge for folks to get attached to focusing on where a player commits.. if they commit great. If they don’t then understand there’s other options.. other valuable options!
Tenn will be a formidable team next season as a title contender and when the 2022 class is officially set I’ll support that group (not just the individuals) no matter what name is on the back of their jersey!

No inside information, just speculation. Just worrisome, she made it known 3 times on her tik tok post and pinned the comment “Not Committed” to the top of the post. For example somebody said “Now that’s a good choice” and she replied with “not committed”
But again, this could mean nothing. I hope for nothing more than Rickea to be a Lady Vol.

Players are human beings, and sometimes human beings enjoy being wooed and doted on and made to feel special and wanted. I strongly suspect that the reason 99.999% of all recruits don't immediately commit -- even to their lifelong "dream school" -- is because once a commitment is made, the party is over with everybody else.

Kids want to get the full royal treatment by all of their suitors, which means even if they may have a good idea where they want to go, they keep it to themselves.

Not saying Rickea Jackson has made up her mind already. I have no idea. But I'm just explaining why it's not a good idea to read anything into her NOT committing over the weekend, either.

I have NO insider knowldege just to be clear. However, I tend to agree with you. Maybe it’s me not wanting to get my hopes up, but if her and Vic’s relationship is repaired, it makes it harder to see her not going to Texas. I still believe if she chose TN, she’d have a better shot at a deep run in the tourney next year.

She decided to visit was the big blow because Vic and his daughter are going to repair it bigtime. I will make them the number one hope I'm totally wrong.
