Rori Harmon is one of the best young PGs in the country. Matharu will be a senior who played with Rickea at MSST. They also have a talented frontcourt. Texas would also be a real contender if Rickea were to sign up. Plus she thrived playing under Vic. I wouldn't be surprised to see her head west, especially if this was a last minute decision to do an OV with them.

Could def see her at Texas. She would be the main focus with good pieces around her and they could win the Big 12. Here she would be a focus with really good pieces but a higher team ceiling i believe.

I wonder if she is up to going to A&M if he left or would him getting her keep him at Texas? His friend is MAJOR donor at A&M (owns oil fields). Wouldn't count him out from moving again.

Was it ever said that Vic really wanted to be the coach at A&M, or he wanted to get back to Texas period. A&M will be a big rebuild next season, and he's got a Texas team that's looking mighty dangerous right now, and could be a top 5 team with Rickea.

I can definitely see him leaving again and I can see her going to Texas. The big variable is will anyone transfer. You just never know these days. I’d bet money that TK and Jordy aren’t going anywhere…big money. Can’t say the same about the TX kids, just not familiar with them.

I don't think he is leaving Texas because Texas A&M hasn't shown the willingness to play a women's basketball coach 2 million dollars. Gary Blair been there for years still making less than a million. Unless that rich guy there is willing to pay the salary he won't be leaving Texas. He would definitely go for the right amount of money.

JMO as I don't think anybody knows what she will do other than maybe herself and her mother. She could go to Texas and commit while there or if she leaves there without a commit then she will most certainly take the LSU visit and wouldn't be expecting her to commit there right away either she doesn't have any ties to anyone there that I know of. So the big concern for Vol fans is that she commits while on the Texas visit and if not look for the decision to come anytime after the end of visits. She becomes immediately eligible after the last NCAA Tourney game is played, but she could wait until the summer semester to enter school if she so desired. The full semester starts June 9th.

I think you hit the key there. Some kids want to be the star and some kids thrive with being a key part of a team. At UT she would share the spotlight with TK and Jordy, have a barrel of fun, be part of a team hunting a Nattie and be a LVFL. At Texas she would be the top dog. I couldn’t comment about the team atmosphere at Texas.
Neither of those desires is better than the other. Just personal preference. I will not hate on her if she chooses Texas nor think of it as an insult to the LVs.
