At this point she’ll be running into academic problems. With all her transfers there is no way she’s on track academically. Something most P5 schools aren’t going to deal with. I think she’ll have to transfer to a mid major

Hardly ever a player I say I don't want and she is one that is on the list of no. She pushed Green that day haven't liked her since.

And then what excites me even more is our bench. We will be bringing Walker, Darby, Suarez, Miles, Wynn, Striplin and Pissott off the bench. All players that I believe will be able to contribute at a high level. Kellie likes to play a large rotation and will finally be able to do so.

Barring any injuries this will be the first time since Kellie has been at UT that nobody has to play out of position.

I do think we could still use a backup 5 and suspect we will get one from the portal. Sarah has done well backing up TK late in the season here but she is just not big enough to do that all SEC season.

With this news, Burrell should stay another year imo. She'd raise her draft stock (even with a stronger draft next year) and have a chance at a deep tourney run.

Honestly with this news I think it’s even more important Rae moves on. I love her to death and she’s a LVFL but she risks losing minutes with the group we have coming back. Also puts us at more risk for having young players transfer IMO because they would move even further down the rotation. If she stays it’ll be really hard for Kellie to find minutes for players like Wynn and Suarez.

Exactly. I do wonder if Saunders might consider a transfer. I would like to see her get some minutes somewhere and play some ball. Just don’t think it’s going to happen in the SEC. When we tried her at the 5 it was a total disaster. Love the kid but she’s just out of her league athletically.

You make a good point about minutes, but in this era of super teams...

Not that I necessarily want us to become another Transfer U, but I'm okay with us filling our bench with elite players and asking folks to move on who aren't able to get us that ring.

Her and my cousin are good friends, who plays for a certain school we love to hate. If anyone knows where I’m from then it won’t be too hard to figure out who I’m talking about, but we talked and she said it was Texas for sure! I believe my sis and ran with it!

100 percent. The development of Kaiya, Marta and Justine is important. Gonna need them to have some solid experience when Horston, Tamari, Rickea and crew graduate.

She is already decided and the big reason we were looking for players like Rickea Jackson. This will be a very talented and deep team next season. I doubt we go for anymore players think were set for next season. Additions for next season Powell, Jackson,, Justine Pissott. Those three would be a top 10 rated class IMO. Ok good, I love Em, just want her to make the choice that will make her most happy. This was the first season you could see some frustration and her getting down a bit. Been much better the last month or so.

I think that backup five position is going to Karoline as she took it when Key went out the other day. I think she has an idea of the player she needs to be and will get a lot better in the off season. We also might play some small ball. You can really run the floor and give people fits with Horston, Jackson. Powell, Miles, and Wynn.

I agree I think we could be set, I do still suspect we pickup a backup 5 from the portal though. I just don’t think Striplin is physical enough and Saunders can go in the SEC.

Strip will be a stretch 4 I suspect and probably a really good one. She’ll need to put on a bunch of muscle is she’s going to backup TK in the SEC for us. She can definitely do it but we need to see it happen fast.
