Does Ole Miss have a coach? Did I miss this?

Yeah, don't blink. For a hot minute, Coach Yo was going to Georgia to fill the job of Joni Taylor who's going to Tex AM to fill the job of Gary Blair who's too old for this nonsense. So Pingeton was rumored to be going to Ole Miss because all her players at Missouri are transferring. But then Yo stayed at OM bc $$$$$$$ so Pingeton stays at Mo but has no team.

Marta is a stretch 4. Last year she was woefully out of shape to be at her best in SEC but anyone who understands basketball could see she has mental and IQ to be really good player just needed to get in great physical shape which she was on track to do so. Definitely would have made us better team this year. In CHRIST Alone

I have heard trainers in the SEC talk about the time it takes to get a freshman to good to great SEC playing shape and it is generally about 2 years for most. Hopefully Marta is still doing a lot of upper body work while that foot heals. We will have a good amount of 6-0 to 6-2 players that should be able to play the 2 and 3 and possibly even slide into the 4 if possible when playing a bit smaller.......Horston, Wynn, Darby, Pissott, Puckett. Another from the portal would go a long way.

Yes depends on injury and trust of said injury. It's mostly mental and everyone is different. With Mata she should be good being stress fracture in foot but you never know. Great question. In CHRIST Alone

With a free for all like it is now, they're all probably scared to wait since all the others in portal are out there grabbing spots on teams. Give everyone an equal start during the spring and run it thru mid summer.

You can't tell a student when and when not to announce they wish to go to a different school. Students transfer all the time. But who are we kidding,this is actually looking for the highest bidder in today's world. College athletics will never be the same...

Why restrict students athletes but allow coaches to seek and obtain other opportunities during March Madness. I don't see anything wrong with (or disruptive about) players entering the portal during this two-week period. It is not that distracting from March Madness.

Jones is an intriguing prospect. All-ACC First Team last two years and All Defensive Team last year. Also received ACC Academic recognition. Seems very much like Jordy: 6'2", good rebounder, doesn't take many threes.

She did put up 28 against Louisville this season.

What are the pros & cons for both UT and Jones if she were to join the roster?

Texas AM football recruiting this year was #1 best in recruiting history. The Miss Coach (noted for his comments) noted Miss couldn't compete re (incentives $$). I would expect incentives came into conversations in recruiting their new women's coach.
