Mulkey is good for the SEC only if you are blind! Goodness those outfits!Somehow I just know Mulkey will land some of the better portal players and be back in the thick of it again next season, and I'm good with that. She is good for the SEC and WBB overall so it's better when she has players. I also think Louisville will get some as will Joni at aTm and it would not surprise me to see some of the better players going to some of the better ACC schools. just my thoughts on barker, but I could see her at aTm or Louisville.
She could play the three or stretch four for almost anybody. I think a lot of coaches would like her playing inside so guess she is looking for one that will promise her otherwise. From the Maryland Rivals site team BB board reference Reese:
" The source also said much of Angel Reese's decision had to do with head coach Brenda Frese’s mindset of playing her in the frontcourt rather than featuring her as more of a perimeter player."
Just think what a difference Mimi could have made had she stayed a LV. She missed a golden opportunity. And TN has a great communications program. Exhibit A: Andraya Carter, Candace Parker, and Kara Lawson.you.
I don't know if Reese is projected as a 3 or 4. Probably a 4, who will get reps at the 3 if she develops the right skillset. So she'd take most of the minutes that Saxton is vacating, but there'd be some left for Feagin.
The other thing is let's say they do get both of the MD players. They will be putting games away so early that the bench will be playing a ton of minutes. I'm assuming if there is a willingness for Owusu/Reese to join such a loaded team, then they are ok with playing a smaller role than they did at MD with fewer minutes and touches.
Like I said get me an energetic post to go with Key and were ready to play next season.love your optimism but they had games put away early this year and their players didn't get off the bench. Look at the early round NCAA games too.
I am confident enough in the LVs that i'm not super worried about this and that's not a knock on what SC has/is doin. It's just there were already rumblings so if you were told to wait your turn and then someone cuts line that might not make for a happy locker room.
Again, i don't really care.
I apologize, shouldn't have assumed you didn't read. It's my old school mindset; couldn't imagine having read comments that a player had a bad visit acknowledged by both sides, was considered disrespectful, and is unhappy at another program yet we would still consider her. That's just me, and of course kids can change. But I sure wouldn't take that gamble, especially if it means recruiting over current players. JMO.I actually did read the comments. Your remarks are irrelevant to me posing a question and thought. The comments posted prior to mine are not 100% factual. How can any one of us know exactly what transpired in her visit? Tennessee was a top 5 school for her, so she clearly had enough interest to include us in that list. A lot can change in 3 years since she visited. People change and grow. If Coach Harper feels she may be a fit, then she will extend her offer to visit. Tamari Key seems to know her well, as they follow each other on Instagram. That alone won’t decide if she comes or not. Only time will tell.

You're feeling stressed? Auriemma just filled out his retirement papers.
Maybe it is good for basketball if Mulkey is in the mix, but it sure would be entertaining to see her have to struggle for at least one year.Somehow I just know Mulkey will land some of the better portal players and be back in the thick of it again next season, and I'm good with that. They b!tched about ONO for 4 years, but good luck finding someone on your team who can put up even token resistance against strong frontcourts next year. He's right now working on a new plan to change his famous "beautiful basket"-playing team into a "way more beauteous than anything has ever been beautiful in the world"-level basketball playing team in order to beat that Boston-Reese frontcourt next season.
