I could See her with Coach Yo, who I’m sure promised her the world.

Where does she fit in at South Carolina? At 6 foot, she played the 4 spots a lot for Missouri and worked inside the paint for scoring and rebounds. She would end up a backup her WNBA stock may drop. That 28-31 minutes a game would go away (probably to 12-15 minutes per game if she is lucky) and her numbers would drop significantly. Does she have 1 or 2 years of eligibility? If only one, that is probably not a good career move for her.

Baylor would be her best bet. She really doesn't offer anything that SC needs.[/QUOTE]

Agree. As a TN fan I don’t want her there selfishly. But looking objectively it’s not the best fit for her to shine HOWEVER she’s such a good player and Dawn is a good coach that can make it happen and work for her system and team.

Nothing against the player.. but some of these same posters talking up Aija Blackwell in anticipation of her committing to S.Carolina barely said anything positive when Rickea Jackson committed to Tennessee. Or when Rae Burrell was selected as the #9 overall pick in the WNBA draft.
Just saying… as a TN fan it really doesn’t matter to me. I watched Missouri beat the Nat’l champion w/ 8 players last season.

Lot of them are not UT fans. They are SC and UCONN fans in disguise. A couple Vandy fans hanging around as well. Pay attention long enough and you can tell who is who and who really supports what.

Several of them barely even watch games…you can tell from their posts. They know very little about the ins and outs of the Lady Vols but will post a half page long diatribe defending UCONN.

But should/do we want to take someone who tore their ACL this past season considering all of the injuries we just dealt with :/
No I don't think we will take her or she would want to come here, but someone needing a player to bridge a recruiting gap she will fit in nicely.

If her knee is healed, why wouldn't we want her? We need another athletic forward. In fact, how many athletic forwards did we have before we landed Jackson? One could say we had zero. We had forwards--but not athletic forwards of 6'2 or better. We need an athletic 4 who can board, defend, get up and down the court, and maybe score 8/10 game; someone who can come in if Key gets into foul trouble and we don't lose much--or even gain. It remains a big hole in our lineup, IMO.

And Puckett and Striplin and Suarez lol. Dude is always blowing smoke. Kills me 😂😂😂

I think it might be Darth in disguise but you never know. Several profiles appeared around the same time last fall when Darth was catching a bunch of heat. They were on here pumping sunshine for Darth and agreeing with him lmao.

I disagree. Marta isn’t a horrible 4, we just seem to focus on when she was no longer physically fit due to her foot issues. Sara will also be much improved coming into this year. Karoline also has the ability to be a good 4 player. All three can give u 8-10 points a game along with 5-6 boards. No need to go for someone who just suffered an ACL tear.
