It baffles me that some of y’all still feel we can be so selective in who is chosen to come to this program. And even more so that Coulibaly would be a pick over Owusu. Most players come with some kind of issue, but with the right coaching and atmosphere it can be turned around. Btw how long has Coach Sam been following Owusu?

Don't know how long she has been following her but Arizona is moving in so we should know something in a few days.

Assuming it's not a moot point, I'm gonna totally trust Kellie and staff on this one. Exactly bc they "survived", I'd say thrived, w Rickea, and bc they have rebuilt the culture so carefully, I defer to their judgement on this potential transfer. Pretty sure they learned something about high profile transfers last year and also sure they have alot more info about Ashley's rather bizarre experience both places she's been.

Not even sure AO is exactly what we're looking for. How's her D? Rebounding? Would she be ok playing off guard? Taking less shots?

I know one philosphy is take em all and they'll sort themselves out. Kim M seems to be the master of that, and also of taking gambles on red flag players. So I wonder why she's apparently taking HVL instead of AO. It was Angel and the girls actively recruiting AO during warmups for the FF game that set off the whole twitter outburst. Everyone assumed she'd end up officially on LSU's bench. Unless I missed, has she even visited there?

Bottom line, I trust this staff to get the decision on AO right if given the opportunity.

This would be Owusu’s COVID year ( final year)!
Her previous coach at VT. Praised her for working with in their offense ….. Until she broke her finger…. Things were working out!

I say you take a chance on a proven top ten player …. She is a guard and we can certainly use one !!!! It’s ONE YEAR , and if there’s a problem? You go with the next one up and sit the problem ! Similar to last year . She wants to be a PRO PLAYER…. She will act like one to improve her draft ability. Go get her … JMO
