I think she knows what to work on this summer. And none of us know the reason she didn’t play more, she plays big, fights for position, and can finish at the rim, that’s what we need from a center.

Joy McCovery has coached two All -American Posts in her short time coaching and was an excellent undersized post at St Johns. I don't know what you mean by "Real Post Coach" considering Joy has already coached two to All -American accolades.

She was credited for developing Florida States Kiah Gillsepie and Michigan's Naz Hillman. Those are pretty good names to put on ones resume beside your name as a position coach.

She looks like in a year or so she may develop into a dominate player in the post. Her footwork and physicality down low needs to get better. Watching her play this year, she shied away from contact and was easily moved away from the basket in half court sets.

Tamari is in her last year and will undoubtedly need to manage her minutes. Betts could share time with Key while Hollingshead & Striplin play the Anisoke role. There would also be the twin towers combo possibility like Boston/Cardoso or Edwards/Duhasz.

I’m betting she goes to Iowa. They need a big and they have the guard. Their bigs coach is also fantastic with a proven record of developing big girls.

Gustafson and Czinano far outpaced what you would have expected from players like them out of HS.

Yes. She is the post coach for the Lady Vols. And yes, Jillian Hollingshed just continues to get better. Jill hardly played as a freshman. She had mono and a knee injury. I think Jills growth between this year and next will be something to see. She has really good footwork and shoots the ball well out to about 15-18 feet, can occasionally hit the 3 and really likes the game of basketball.

That is awesome. That is great to hear. Hope she takes advantage of as much "free" education as she can get. But then again, I am selfish and think she is one of the best post players in the country, not to mention, a great representative of the Lady Vols.
