Padilla, Morrow and Coulibaly are the only 3 left that I think will make an impact for us if we get them. But who knows if we get any of them at all.Aneesha Morrow is statistically capable to fill the void left by Horston. A top transfer prospect from Lousville. She will require a lot of benefits to be interested.
Okay, so we have one commit for next year's class. One commit for the year after that. And one commit for two years after that. We just have to hold onto them until they can actually sign. Meanwhile, we have no recruits for the current class, and all of last year's class have left.No because…
“Boyd joins Nyla Brooks and Finley Chastain as the only players currently committed to Tennessee.
Brooks is in the class of 2025 and Chastain is the top-ranked player in the class of 2027.
While Harper has gained a bulk of her talent through the transfer portal, the pickup of Boyd helps boost her team's future young talent.”
In all probability, she's going to Ohio St.Anyone know if Celeste Taylor has visited yet? I think she’s a high probability for us and someone we can really use. She has been very interactive with several of our players on social media recently.
She and Jordan connected after the draft and I think she may be interested in coming to Knoxville. If Kellie is serious about getting our defense back up to par she will help.
Might mean we end up recruiting over Powell a little which I hate to see. But the two of them could split time and be very effective.

With a lot of players choosing already the best thing we could do right now is get Barnum to help in the post. Still plenty of guards available,
Oh please. If this wasn't someone you know you would never in a million years type the words Kellie made a right move on this. Or anything else. You know dang well you'd be ripping her a new one for once again recruiting "this kind of player".A great day for a local kid and I’ll give Kellie credit for going back and revisiting. I was in the camp that she should have been signed for the 2022 class originally when others turned us down. It’s been a long time since a Knoxville/East Tennessee girl who dreamed of playing at Tennessee had a chance to fulfill that dream. Ace wants to be here because it’s her school, the school she worked hard for….pride still means something. It won’t be a popular with everyone at first, but she will become a fan favorite with how she will represent Tennessee on and off the court. She does not have to live up to RJ or be compared to Tess, she just has to play her role and by doing that will make the Lady Vols better. She’s not coming in with the accolades of JP who moved on, she’s coming in with experience and a love for the Tennessee tradition. I’m happy for this kid and as critical as I am of Kellie this was the right move.

Aside the collosal hypocrisy, I agree this is an ok move, won't hurt anything and if it actually helps someday that's great. I'm sure she'll be a great teammate.
But actually, we do need someone who compares to Tess. That's precisely what I pray the next boom is finally about.
From your description she would fit right in with what Harper wants...ironic isn't it .I have never been a fan of starting Darby nor giving her the minutes that she gets .At best she is a catch and shoot 3point player and if covered can not drive or create her own shot plus as has been stated many times by other posters she is a huge liability on defense because quick guards eat her alive .If Strickland is less athletic than Darby then that sucks. We do need someone who can shoot the 3 but we also need someone who can defend in the SEC.
Idk why people keep comparing Strickland and Darby. I don’t think they are very similar at all aside from a tendency to hang out around the perimeter. Tess is a 40%+ 3 point shooter and over 80% from the line. She’s also 6’1” and while not the fastest player she has good hands and gives her all.
Strickland is a poor shooter and even poorer defender. She’s 5’10” and less athletic than Darby from the film I’ve seen. If she’s coming to Knoxville I’ll support her and hold my tongue, but I would not expect Strickland to ever contribute more than a few minutes per game in her career.
You can’t give your honest opinion on here, they will crucify u for this.
I have been crucified before ,still have the marks on my hands, feet and heart but still kicking .....and as long as I am kicking I will give my thoughts on what is real to me and what is not real as a true Lady Vol Fan since 1978 when I met Pat Summitt for the 1st time. You can’t give your honest opinion on here, they will crucify u for this.
I get attacked everyday and I’ll still kickin as well, I’m glad someone else can call it how they see it and not just over value what a player brings on the court.I have been crucified before ,still have the marks on my hands, feet and heart but still kicking .....and as long as I am kicking I will give my thoughts on what is real to me and what is not real as a true Lady Vol Fan since 1978 when I met Pat Summitt for the 1st time.
