I think the opposite, Rickea thrives in the paint and if Key is taking up that space I don’t think that’s a good thing, give Rickea the space to work.

I get the hate for Reese, but I really don't understand why so many fans here seem to have a problem with HVL?

Both have giant egos but they are also ultimate competitors so while I'm sure things would be tense at times but I imagine they would do what it takes to win.

I personally don't see it as some crazy deal breaker as some may make it. HVL would have to accept not shooting it at the volume she did at Louisville though. As I said previously, that would happen at any of the major schools should she transfer over to one.

It’s more the Reese hate, and they think these players don’t know how to adjust their game for the greater good like they are all selfish.

Our knowledgeable fans here don't seem to understand Jeff Walz actually did not have one of his more talented teams this past season. HVL HAD to be a volume shooter for the team to be successful, and she carried them all the way to the Elite Eight (which is further than Tennessee made it btw).

I suspect a big part of the reason she is looking to move on to LSU is she would no longer have to shoot 30 times a game and shoulder the burden of carrying the offensive load... those looks are suddenly going to come a lot easier when you have a Reese in the paint.

So far I think Louisville has won the portal. Interesting, as I thought Walz did one of the poorer jobs integrating the transfers last season. Took them a long time to get going. Jones never really did.

He can obviously coach as he is a perennial contender in the Elite Eight at this point. Lots of personalities to make jive this season, interested to see how it goes.
