Definitely center lol

Watch Mays come back and we go 11-1. For whatever reason we can't see without our starting center.

With it being known Nico will be the starter, getting a good backup QB will be hard.

The entire OL definitely will need improvement.

DT will also be a need.

We have our MLBs on the team, they just need development. Herring will be much better next year.

We probably have our CBs and Safeties on the team, they just need a real coach. Martinez isn't cutting it.

Depending on how recruiting works out, WR and TE might come into play as needs.

Worry about OL, too. The OL we currently have is playing like doo-doo, and next year's OL isn't looking much better atm. Spraggins will be gone. Crawford I think will be gone. Not sure about Mincey. Campbell and Cooper could possibly be gone. Next year's OL looks bleak atm.

DL and OL will be biggest portal needs IMO.

The main need is OL…a good one at all 3 positions (C, G, OT). After that, the next priority is TE. I do think we have some good young DBs who will develop, so that would be below those others in priority, but if you can find guys who are plug and play, take them.

DT, and OT. I think LB, CB, and S should already be on campus. I think we need a WR.

Cooper can come back, right? He may have to come back and show the scouts that he can stay healthy.

I’d be fine with Cooper and Satterwhite tbh

If we don't have quality players on the roster ALREADY (in year FOUR in '24) and have to depend on the portal for our success... CJH should be shown the door. You're telling me that we will need ALL those positions filled to have success in '24??? That's absolutely terrible recruiting and roster management.

So you’re just ok with us having 2 scholarship QB’s? Ik Nico and Merkingler are studs, but who’s to say thst we wont have a qb battle this offseason assuming Nico doesn’t start any this year? Most teams have/need 3 scholarship qbs

I mean if we can get somebody worth a damn, otherwise it's not a big deal. Save the scholarship, because the season is usually lost if you're down to your 3rd string guy.

I could see someone like Brock Vandagriff hitting the portal, he grew up a UT fan and I feel like we could get him to come here if Nico hasn’t locked down the starting position yet
