We have the time to waste. Itā€™s not like heā€™s in Uzbekistan.

True, but I think his father, brother and uncle all played at Georgia and he's from there. It might be easier if he was in Uzbekistan.

Of course it is worth a try, but I lost any hope of interest on his part after the cancelled recruiting trips to Knoxville when this guy was in high school.

That makes sense. Still worth a pitch. He went UNC with all those family connections at UGA. Maybe heā€™s not into the legacy thing?

The kid is talented for sure and he sounds like a worker. I just haven't seen any love of either Barnes or Tennessee from him in the past. We certainly weren't in his final list out of high school. If he reached out, that's a good sign. I hope you are correct.

I think a case could be made that ā€œbest caseā€ we would be able to add a better backup PG option that could also play some 2 and be a better defender than Vescovi/Bailey. I agree itā€™s not likely priority #1 but I could make a case itā€™s a need.

I just can't see it being UGA. The primary tie there is the legacy ties, but if that was such a huge factor in Walker's school choice he would have just gone to UGA out of high school. I can't see him leaving Roy Williams and UNC to go to Georgia for the 5th year of Tom Crean who still hasn't made an NCAA tournament and has shown little growth in his program.

Sure, he had Anthony Edwards, but Kessler is not the same talent as Anthony Edwards.

I was surprised at how little Kessler played this year. I only watched parts of 3 games but he was very good IMO. Maybe he is their Corey Walker.

Weā€™re his scheduled visits early in the pandemic? Seems like I remember there being something more than just sorry Iā€™m not visiting?
