You loved that guy. How do you feel about him Kiffening your program on the way out?Y’all ain’t gonna care, but I think this is funny…..
Peay’s old coach (now at UTEP) is bringing 7/8 Peay transfers and almost all the ‘24 Peay commitments…..
Not sure I’d want to be a UTEP fan knowing I’m getting only FCS players to play FBS schedule
Yep. You just look at his highlights and he'd be the best WR in the room the minute he steps on campus. TN connection and we have a definite need. Seems like a perfect situation/fit.....and that's why it won't happen. Too much money, not a good fit, wrong shoe size, bad haircut....something....always something. Watch him head to Ole Miss or Mizzou instead. If they don’t make room for this kid so help me god… our WRs are average.
I sure as heck would...on both counts. We need playmakers at BOTH positions. Maybe our incoming freshmen are ready to step in but maybe not. I just can't imagine not giving Nico weapons to use next year. No offense to our current WR's, but let's be real here. We don't know what Bru will be like after he's recovered. Squirrel is a nice piece, but not really a game changer. We don't know what Thornton will do. Nimrod and Webb are decent, but haven't shown that they're going to be real difference makers. You grab Brazzell and Stewart as you bring Matthews and Staley along. Your WR room looks a helluva lot better and Nico's got guys who can separate unlike what Milton had to deal with this year. How many times were our WR's running free? Did they look anything like Tillman and Hyatt? Yeah, I know they were NFL talents, but our guys just struggled to get any kind of separation last year. Give me another corner to go with the Oregon St transfer and it allows our defense to do so much more and maybe we don't have to watch that soft zone for another season because we don't have the type of corners who can man up on a WR. So yeah, I'm really down with getting those 2 WRs and another CB if we can get the right one. Those 3 would make a huge difference next year I suspect. If Brazzell commits but Evan Stewart also wants in, would we take 2 WR?
With Jermod McCoy in, would we take another portal CB?
The talent gap between low-G5 and mid-FCS is pretty narrow. Probably better than what’s there at UTEP right now. Quite a difference in schools to go to between Austin Peay and El Paso lol.Y’all ain’t gonna care, but I think this is funny…..
