We have five players targeted for visits in January. We are still looking for big time contributors at DB, DL, OL and would obviously take Stewart if his NIL number isn’t crazy. I think the current roster suggests we have zero or one open slot(s). I assume staff knows we’re losing players after the bowl. As with last year, I think they did a great job keeping key veterans, attracting portal players who will play and are cultural fits, and taking swings at the freaks. This January period will be interesting. There are still some very highly rated players in the portal, and apparently many others coming. I think the bowl game will give us a look at how some young players are developing too. It should be an exciting off season with the anticipation of Nico and other young players.

The staff’s policy is to pay top performers at like positions, like money. I don’t know the specific numbers for WR, but they aren’t going to offer Stewart meaningfully more than Squirrel, Brazzell, Matthews etc.

Bru is the best blocker we have for the wide receiver screen. And as you said really good possession receiver. Plus one more mentor players will learn from him.
