Transgender Female Setting Records

I would not. Are we really so shallow that winning by using someone with a Y chromosome is acceptable?
I will always support the Lady VOLS team, that doesn't mean in any way I would support a decision allowing a man to play for them.
Ok. I’m gonna put you guys down as “maybe”

It's actually the exception to the rule. Girls sports are not being dominated by transgender athletes. I am not comfortable with the integration, particularly in MMA, but it's not what people think it is.

Do you know how fkn fast you have to be as a male to be faster than the fastest female? You gotta be an elite male athlete. It's not just a matter of being born with male reproductive organs.

CeCe Telfer was the 200th ('16) and 390th ('17) ranked mens hurdler in DII at 400m. "She" won the 400 championship in women's 400m in 2019.

Your observation that just any dude can go compete with women and clean up is accurate. The USA women's 100m qualifying time is an 11.15. That's way faster than most guys can run. It's also pretty pedestrian for what "fast" guys run. Even if we accept FloJo's WR time (there's more than a little controversy there) and how fast a 10.49 really is it's still a number topped annually by multiple HS male runners.

It’s going to boil down to whichever team has the most trannies wins the most games.

Can the 200th fastest 18-22 yo dii man beat division ii women that age? Yes. What I'm speaking to is the idea that women's college sports are in danger of being dominated. I just don't think there are enough great male athletes who are going to transition by age 22 and maintain an interest in sports. Maybe we'll get there someday. IDK, but seems unlikely at this point.

If we're just running numbers then I see your point but what do we mean by "dominate"? If we're just talking about some really good male (but not even elite by male standards) that makes the shift and buries all biological female competitors then it would only take one in that given sport. If one means there's a large enough influx of males competing as females to displace a large number of the latter across the board then I'd tend to agree...at least for the short term.

Hopefully, we can get this stuff figured out. IOC did not approve CeCe for the olympics, and maybe some strict guidelines could be adopted for NCAA athletics

Didn't we already go through this before the former Soviet Union imploded, with women's teams from Romania and East Germany?

Some grist for the mill. This athlete destroyed the field and in the process set an Ivy League record (at least one). Beat the field by 38 seconds in one race...38 seconds. And there's this - The swimmer continued smashing records on Saturday with a nearly 7-second victory in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:41.93 — representing the fastest finish in the country, the school said.

UPenn transgender swimmer Lia Thomas continues dominant season with more record-breaking wins

so saw this in the article about the swimmer at Penn

"Before her transition, Thomas competed for two full seasons at Penn as a man. NCAA rules mandate at least one year of testosterone suppression treatment to be eligible to compete as a woman."

Why not stay on the men's team?

I doubt that.
It was a bit vague. To be fair, I did say “top” HS Freshman.

Are the 5 Stars about 30 or so in BBall too? Let me randomly pick 5 of the top30 15 year olds, and I bet you they handle Team USA easily.
