I should clarify: well child exams require a complete, unclothed physical, per AAP guidance and insurance requirements. Our office policy is that our patients must have a yearly physical in order to compete the TSSAA forms. I could fill a novel with all the unexpected findings I've caught, thanks to this policy. What these retail-based clinics or shuttle-through mass "sports physicals" really do is check a box.Are you saying the genital stuff is part of that full physical?
I just had my daughter get one at a CVS for sports. I was in the room the whole time. Nothing of that nature was checked.
After widespread outrage, the Ohio Senate GOP is killing the "genital inspection" portion of a bill that would prohibit transgender girls and women from competing against cisgender girls and women.
Senate President Matt Huffman has made his stance known about the transgender sports bill, which requires any female athlete "accused" of being transgender to have a full external and internal genital inspection.
I think it's not common at all. What in this world coming to if people are transitioning their children before the age of 12? This is just so sick.
I think it's not common at all.
I always remind folks that the news stuff you see, what gets pushed, is not that mainstream. Look at who supports that here and how looney they are. They're not normal.

This is what it’s going to take - actual Women in Sport standing up and saying ‘No’ to Men competing against Women.
“This award combines athletic performance with academics, service, and character. What character has Thomas shown other than sheer selfishness and entitlement?” Gaines continued, accusing Thomas of showing “disrespect” and “disregard” for other female athletes.
“I competed against Renee Richards when she was 43 and was not in shape, as she admitted, and [struggled to beat her] — and I was ranked No. 1 in the world,” Evert said on the call.
