1. If a commit is taking other visits, it doesn't matter how solid they are on their commitment, Scout lists them as a soft verbal.

2.No, it doesn't. A player can say there is no chance whatsoever they are going anywhere but to their committed school, but if they continue to take their visits, they are listed as "soft."
yep...you go by scout.com and I and the rest of us will go with the rest of the recruiting world. Scout's a joke...Tahj Boyd is NOT a 5 star qb....or athlete for that matter.

Yeah, scout gives five stars out like signs out Democratic National Convention.

Glen Coffee is going pro, probably locks him up to go there...

Really? Then I would say that TR is a Bama lock.

Is Coffee a first rounder?... He looked like a powerful runner with decent speed but I didn't see him leaving early. I guess I can't blame him since he is losing that many blockers up front.

Bama's backs won't look near as good next year with them losing 3 starters on the o-line.

Yes and i've seen them probably more than anyone else on this board. Ingram is a very good but you're underestimating how good Trent will be.

Ive seen Trent play 3 times.. He's good.. But I don't think he starts immediately.. and needs to get a bigger IMO

The only team he played against this year with D-1 potential players on it was Pine Forest.. but besides PF the pickings around here are bare...

They are filling those holes with studs.

not many freshman OL will come into a BCS school and start. Fluker will be good but there's a huge learning curve. Any Bama fan that thinks their running game will be as good as this past season is setting themselves up for disappointment.

If Richardson is visiting on the 30th then he might try to sway the star studded players who also are visiting on the 30th to bama. Guys like this:Derrick Webb
Tim Simon
Patrick Patterson
Marcus Hall
Marlon Brown
Randall Carroll (Not listed by Rivals)
Terrell Williams
Trent Richardson
Orson Charles
Chad Bumphis

pretty good list.

do you think he would have any credibility with those guys coming in as nothing but a sniper on a freeroll?

most of these guys aren't going to compete for the Rhodes scholarship, but it doesn't mean they don't have street smarts.

I couldn't imagine anyone being swayed by someone doing something so weasley.

I haven't seen a single recruit tell the media this year that they actually enjoy being recruited by their peers. Kids seem to be aggravated by the never-ending tug of war, to be honest.

Is this kid looking for a free weekend, or is there some interest?

They usually seem to be relieved once they commit and then once they sign

Would you travel from Fla to Tennessee just to get a free weekend? IMO I think he is interested since he knows what type of offense Tennessee is going to run. He may just come to see what the facilities and the campus looks like, but in the end imo he will go to Bama.
