There's nothing that will a perfectly normal and sane person into a mouth-breathing dumbass faster than putting on something that has an OSU logo on it.

Report: Tressel forwarded emails to Pryor’s mentor | CollegeFootballTalk

According to the Dispatch, and citing multiple unnamed sources, Tressel forwarded the emails he had received last April to Jeanette, Pa., businessman Ted Sarniak. Sarniak has been Pryor’s mentor for the past several years and served as the point man in the quarterback’s recruitment.

So Tressel thought it to be more important to share information about potential NCAA violations with a person outside of the football program — at least we think he’s outside of it; the school made sure to let the paper know Sarniak is not a booster — than it would be to inform his employers that at least two of his players had likely committed NCAA violations? And he did this even as he thought there was a “confidentiality” agreement in place with the original emailer?

Anyone else find it ironic that OSU "allegedly" blew the whistle at Bruce pearl and now it's bread and butter is going through similar issues (lying to NCAA)

I'm a believer in karma.

If the NCAA follows it's normal path, once they start digging around they are free to look at everything. Hence Pearl getting caught up in the CLK firestorm, CJT may think he can avoid the microscope by sitting on his own.

That is ASSUMING they start digging. Nothing forces them to. NCAA makes a lot of money from OSU.

i am not familiar with this website, but a fellow engineer sent me this link about some potential major sanctions against OSU and CJT. TIFWIW, again unfamiliar source, but it may explain some of the driving force behind the abrupt change of heart over CBP.

Seems like the NCAA is putting a little bite with their bark. I did not check to see if this had been posted yet.

I think they have to now. With the news that CJT shared the emails with TP's "handler" I think they have to look deeper into the whole program.

I tend to agree. People here seem to be confused about who exactly is Pryor's 'mentor.'

Apparently Brian Baldinger reported on ESPN 97.5FM (in philly) that his sources have told him that before the end of the day Ohio State will need a new head coach.

If it's true, is Urban Meyer likely the new OSU coach?

Meyer to OSU... Shirley, you can't be serious. That would rub some gators' cloacae against the grain of the scales.

I know some people up here have been hearing rumors about Meyer. If it was next year maybe but I don't see how he can take another big time job so quickly if he left FL for family/health reasons.

You assume the reasons he gave for leaving were not complete Bull Shot!!!
