Trevor is out this week due to an infection from the insect bite a few weeks ago. It's a devestating blow for his championship attempt.

I think some cause for concern might be warranted. I wouldn't be surprised if he's out for a long period of time. I'm not sure it's an insect bite.

I've read some of the rumors and it doesn't sound good, especially what DW and Kenny Wallace tweeted. One of the rumors I've heard is that multiple sclerosis and that Bill Elliott will drive for the Wood Brothers for the rest of the year. I don't like to speculate but apparently there are all kinds of rumors going around at the RIR media center.

The multiple sclerosis rumor came about becaue his sister has it. I've also heard something else from more than a few people.

Bayne released from the Mayo Clinic with what they are calling an inflammatory condition. Said not life threatening or career ending, and he is expected to compete in the All Star Race, but not at Darlington.

Not to be Johnny Raincloud, but MS is an inflammatory autoimmune condition. Trust me, I know. Not saying that's what is wrong, but this news troubles me. MS doesn't mean the end of his career. There was a female driver in the Nationwide Series a few years ago. She drove the Copaxone car (an MS drug that is injected). I hope MS is not the cause. Seems like a great kid.

Inflammatory condition leaves a lot of room for speculation as it covers many medical issues. It brings back memories of when they were being vague regarding Tim Richmond's condition.

He will be sitting out this week. Expect to hear an announcement involving Kevin Swindell to be in the 16 ride soon.

Sounds great. Good kid, imo.
