It does matter, or have you been out of touch for a while? This sort of thing is why this Country has got in the shape it is in.Everyone has to walk on eggshells to keep from hurting someones feelings. That is why some in this country wont call a terrorist a terrorist,an illegal an illegal. As I said before I might get flamed but I would say the same to anyones face.No its not because you are arabic, spanish or whatever its because you are stupid,(not you txvolfan, the ones who get their feelings hurt.)

It don't hurt my feelings that's your opinion. Let me ask you this... Do you believe that racial discrimination still go's on in America?

On the "eve" of a national championship game? I'm not validating the cause (to a 39 year old white male it seems rather trivial), but I don't really mind the principle of the issue. He is sticking up for his kid.

His timing is atrocious, and does show a certain lack of reason.

It's a dumb rule also. I don't care if it was a black guy's decision or not. A style of hair says nothing about a persons character or will not do anything to make them better young men. If a person's dress and attire has an influence on behavior, then there wouldn't be any thieves on Wall Street in 3 piece suits I suppose.

I don't know what that hgh school coach's motivation was for having this rule, but it can't be achieved by having the guys cut their hair.

isnt that what college is for - preparing for real life?

Every job a person gets whether its McDonalds or Microsoft, there is a handbook with the dress code. That's real life. Its their rules and their image, not his.

Suck it up kid. He's going to school on somebody else's dime. If he doesnt like it then leave and pay for it himself.

Trooper Taylor is the man. I once got a chest-bump from him (seriously).

But it took every ounce of energy in my body to not laugh uncontrollably at this story. C'mon, man. Seriously? It's a hairstyle, not a staple of black culture.

Did you refrain from washing your chest after said incident.

ok, didnt read the story. Actually didnt want to either. Kind of disgusted me as I thought more of him and didnt think he would use the race card as his crutch. Take out my second paragraph and its still applies

It amazes me how people in any organization don't know what's expected of them in terms of the rules, dress codes, public decorum, etc., but will raise nine kinds of hell when they are called on violating said rules and regulations. Surely they were apprised of what was expected of them when they agreed to become a part of the group.
