Aren't you guys the same ones who said none of our assistant coaches could jobs elsewhere?

What are you talking about?

Why do you continually lump people into a certain category?

The $1.5M a year that Duke is rumored to be paying is worth exactly that. Your opinion justed wasted pixels on my screen.

The Tennessee magic dust will propel Duke to an average of 8 wins a season and an ACC Championship appearance by year 3.

It might take 5 for the championship, but when that comes noone at Duke will be averaging wins across previous season... and even if it doesn't, Cut will have earned $7.5M.

The UT program will miss Cut if he goes... and he (whoever comes here and posts all this BS about our current coaching staff) will simply get on the next guy's :shaking2:

In all honesty, the way the ACC has played out I bet Duke can win 5-6 games consistently with a magically once in a lifetime season in between somewhere.

You are correct, sir.

Since most fans can't do the math on evaluating coaches in the new era of CFB, the place to be with all the parity in college football is at the bottom on the rise instead at the top on the fall.

Cut will have a decent quarterback to work with and Lord knows he will instill discipline.

The hardest part will be putting together a defense.

Agree, but motivation is such a big part of defense in CFB , especially in leagues like the ACC where talent appears somewhat depleted. Cut does that well.

It will take a lot more than motivation, their defense is really bad.

Check out the Notre Dame game....................
