So a guy who has literally been on the receiving end of one stupid witch hunt after another since he beat the establishment and became President is trying to avoid another stupid witch hunt that he sees coming a mile away?

It is exactly the guy's job to know the facts and relay them to us. To help us. And Trump and his administration shut him down from that crucial function just to save Trump's ego?

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany responded Saturday to questions as to why White House coronavirus task force member Dr. Anthony Fauci was supposedly "blocked" from testifying before the House next week.

"In this case, [Rep. Nita Lowey, D-N.Y.] actually made several calls to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, who I just spoke with, and the chief of staff repeatedly asked what the subject matter of the hearing would be," McEnany said on "America's Newsroom HQ."


Besides giving vague responses, she never gave too much detail as to what the actual subject matter would be other than it being a subcommittee for HHS [Department of Health and Human Services] funding, which would have been a rather odd fit for Dr. Fauci being that he's at NIH [the National Institutes of Health], which is a subdivision of Secretary [Alex] Azar's HHS. So when we pressed for details as to why Dr. Fauci, in particular, was the right person for this testimony in this hearing, those details were never provided."

The idea that the administration is to blame for any of this is insanity of the highest order. I imagine Fauci has better things to do right now than have idiots like Kamala Harris harass him.

I don't blame Trump one iota. We have a pandemic on our hands and Democrats are trying to play political games. Truly despicable.

For anyone who believes we’ve failed at testing. Their gold standards for testing seem to be Germany and South Korea.

Germany tests per million 40k
South Korea 12k

What am I missing? Where’s the failure

I know. It’s so evil of them to have not had millions of reliable tests available while the WHO organization was saying human to human transmission wasn’t possible.

And then once it was confirmed, we immediately ramped up testing and ventilators at insane rates. It’s actually one of the few times I’ve seen government be successful
