The only reason that the Dems want to do it is to drive a wedge between Fauci and Trump, and exploit it with gotcha questions. They would spend all their minutes bashing Trump's response.

For every Benghazi Committee, there’s a Russia investigation. It’s how Congressional hearings work and they mostly all suck at being constructive.

What was Anthony Fauci saying about the CCP virus at the end of February? This was AFTER Trump's travel ban from China to give you a time frame.

I'll give you a hint, it was the same thing China, the WHO, Nancy Pelosi, Andrew Cuomo and Bill de Blasio (among MANY others) were saying. The media and their puppets, the Democrats, were again attempting a coup of president Trump so they didn't have time to give it any attention. If you think real hard, you might remember. I have no doubt that you won't remember.

The one thing that sticks out Trump could have done is shutdown travel from Europe earlier. He is the only one that had that power. Maybe it was even suggested by Fauci and the CDC gang.

What do you think about China lying about human to human transmission while buying as much if the world's PPE and they could get? You think that had no effect on the amount of PPE and we could get when we needed it?

The reality is China didn't know about human to human transmission early enough and when they did figure it out, it is a fact they withheld that information from WHO and the world for several days. I hadn't heard that China was buying up PPE, I heard individuals were sending PPE back to family in china since masks have almost become a way of life for the Chinese. We have identified national security issues with buying PPE from China. We either need to start making them in the States or, increase our stockpiles, or both.

It's a no brainer. There should be legislation to address this. It would fall directly in line with bringing manufacturing jobs back from China, but would Republicans screech "free trade", call it communism, or say the government shouldn't get involved because all regulations are bad?
