Trump Assassination Attempt(s)

Here is an example. You have a twin brother RedneckRivieraVol. You both start working the same day, you retire the same day, you start drawing SS at the same time. The only difference is you earned exactly the SS cap each year and RedneckRivieraVol earned exactly 25% of you each and every year.

If the rates of return were the same, you would have a SS check that is exactly 4x the size of your twins. In reality, your check will be less than 3x the size of your brothers....
Thanks...
Admittedly I haven't done the math because it is a waste of time. The money has already been stolen from me

488yds you say? (looks at a map) Huh.....
Typo, or is Erik dropping truths?

Typo. Supposedly the SS guy who took out the assassin was the one on the stand to Trump's left.

Question would be why did local police snipers have stand closest to the most vulnerable roof spot...

SMH. And I thought you were only hugely ignorant of economics. Clearly, you're not a small business owner.

Had the federal government not intervened during the pandemic to prop up our economy, likely tens of thousands of small businesses would have gone out of business. Period. This is not debatable. This would have likely resulted in an extended period of economic pain and additional unemployment (read: recession).
I grew my business big time by not taking the federal money and taking advantage of everyone else’s weaknesses. I sold that business while everyone else was stagnant. The government program was robbed by way more people than it helped. The small businesses where shafted by those programs while Ruth Criminal steakhouse was busy defrauding the government.

Plot twist:
The bullet was made of glass.
You're all wrong. The shooter probably noticed Trump had a two-day-old stubble and attempted to give him a free shave.
Dumb guy, didn't even lather the man up first. Dumb.

Just trying to take the edge off the sickening act of shooting a viable Prez candidate.

The ffs viewed slavery as evil and didnt think states should be allowed to leave the union. The great concern was that they'd be manipulated by foreign powers to bring down the rest of the states -- a little like hotel california.
The FF's were not all of the same opinion on those issues. If the conensus was that states should not be allowed to leave the union then that would be in the Constitution.

No doubt. But, again, the alternative was a massive recession with millions of unemployed.

A somewhat analogous situation occurred during the bank collapses of 2008. Had the Fed not intervened we could have ended up in a depression scenario.

My bottom line is the government backstop is a good thing. It has its flaws, but it beats the alternative.
