All those who reported falling ill were seated on the side of the stage where Trump made his entrance before approaching the podium.

One attendee says the doctor informed her that she had suffered a chemical burn.

I think you are missing my point as well. I am not claiming conspiracy at all. I am merely focusing on the single observation that leftists are unable to admit that the shooter’s (alleged) 2016 vote for Trump means that he must still be a conservative so that they can keep denying the extreme incitement being spewed daily by democrat leaders. While at the same time, conversely pretending that Kamala’s protestations that she no longer espouses her clearly stated radical positions from just five years ago are legitimate.
Do you not see the blatant logical inconsistency between the two?

One has nothing to do with the other.

First, I don't think he's a conservative. I don't even think it matters if he voted for Trump in 2016. The guy is coo coo for cocoa puffs.

I was poking fun at the conspiracy people who support Trump when I can make the reverse argument as easily as they make theirs.

As to Harris reversing her positions I agree with you. I don't like her. Prefer many Dems and Republicans over her. I wish there'd been an open primary (prior to my change to independent) as I am no fan of Harris.

But I'll vote for her over Trump because in my view he's so awful it's the lesser of two evils to vote for her. By a wide margin.

If someone truly follows basic Judeo-Christian believe that God is sovereign and all powerful, then God’s intervention is what keeps us EACH alive every single day. I mean it is by the Grace of God that I didn’t get hit by a drunk driver, catch a deadly virus, have a heart attack, or died of any one of a hindered possible causes today.
So yes, in that sense, God “saved” Trump the other day, just as surely as he “saved” both you and myself.
God is sovereign and Donald Trump will live until the day God has determined that he, like each one of us, moves on to eternity.
And what in the world do you mean with this “He/She” language to refer to God? That is clearly in conflict with every page of the Bible. God the FATHER is pretty unambiguous.

I understand most of that; except for the part about Trump being “so awful”. I mean, he was President already for 48 months and not one of the apocalyptic calamities that liberals claim to be the unavoidable consequences of a Trump presidency ever occurred. He jailed absolutely zero political opponents; never once tried to exercise the powers of a dictator, started no wars, persecuted zero gays, lesbians, or any other alternative sexual group.
So I don’t get the continuous and hysterical predictions of doom and “the end of democracy (cue dramatic music)” that I hear daily.
The man had the job before and did pretty well at it. Much better than the current democrat candidate that has been in the administration for the past four years and was either a) an integral part of every policy and position or b) just a powerless nobody awaiting her turn at the tiller; depending on which day of the week it is.

If the Dems had ANYTHING to run on besides "We aren't Trump", or "Anyone but Trump" you would have a point. Its literally your entire existence. If Trump is dead, by default we get "anyone but Trump". by default who ever picks up the Martyr flag FOR Trump won't be Trump, and won't be as universally hated as him.

how many times have we heard "anything to stop Trump"; but now that "anything" has started to happen you are suddenly back pedaling? It would be just as easy to say this is the Dems way to try and separate themselves from it.

heck it could always be a "rouge" Dem and not the full blown DNC. When Trump wakes up dead after firing a O/U shotgun to the back of his head twice it could just be another Clintoncide that the media drops in 2 seconds.

and besides Trump is Dem. life long rich New Yorker who hung out with Dems his whole life. most of Trump's policies are a Dem's wet dream, even the "right leaning" stuff he does comes with a huge dose of bigger government. Trump is a Dem who got off the plantation, and we know how the DNC treats them.

Is that really your take? I not voting for Trump because he isn't Kamala. I originally intended to vote against trump, but after the debate cleared things up I'm solid in the Harris camp. I most certainly feel better about Walz taking over than I would be Vance.

I could see if you were already voting for Harris that after the debate you continue to vote for Harris; but I don't see how the debate convinced anyone actually on the ledge to vote FOR Harris.

Trump was exposed as an idiot.....we have had 8+ years of it, so I don't really see the debate as highlighting anything new there.

his crassness, lies, etc, are in the same boat.

kamala did nothing to actually cement herself as a valid candidate. In the bits I have seen it just made it clear she is lucky to be running against Trump. Same is true the other way. a half decent candidate on either side is running away with this election against the current duo.

She cemented things for me, given the choices, which would include Kennedy. But there are many I would rather have as a candidate, including Walz
