I agree. In all honesty, he should’ve been killed in July. I can’t believe the Iranian government would be this out in the open about planning the assassination of any world leader, but especially the POTUS. Are they this bad at this, or do they think that a large group Americans would actually be happy? Either way, some people Tehran have to die over this. I would say the exact same thing for Biden, Kamala, Waltz..etc. This is unacceptable.

Afghan Mastermind of Iran's Plot To Assassinate Trump Is Criminal Migrant Who Was Deported From US in 2008​

An Afghan man accused of masterminding a foiled murder-for-hire plot against Donald Trump was deported from the US after serving time in jail.

Farhad Shakeri, 51, served 14 years in prison for robbery before his release in 2008.

The accused terrorist was then deported and became an asset for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Department of Justice said.


Shakeri has been charged alongside New Yorkers Carlisle Rivera, also known as Pop, 49, of Brooklyn, Jonathon Loadholt, 36, of Staten Island in an elaborate assassination plot on behalf of Tehran.

They are accused of attempting to assassinate Trump, as well as Iranian-American activist Masih Alinejad and two Jewish businessmen living in the US. Two other unnamed co-conspirators were identified but have not been charged.

As a tax payer I consider this attempt on Trumps life the most serious foreign issue this country has, it should be dealt with in a serious matter. Sounds like Trump is going to try to cripple them financially when it’s his time for starters.

We were actually in New York a few weeks ago, and there were obvious armed guards outside of a Jewish synagogue.. that was really the only time we were like ‘hmm..’… aside from the usual NYC stuff

If, big if, that someone from the United States Government was plotting the assassination of a public official, former President and presidential candidate they should be held to the highest accountability possible. If they were working w/ the Iranians or another foreign government, I have zero problem w/ the death penalty.

If it were someone from an Agency, maybe not. If an elected official was found to be financing or giving sensitive information to a government or the actual assassin I could see it coming out . Feels like we are building off the plot from Homeland .
