I wish it were so. Unfortunately, the president is OTJ 24/7/365. So, no matter how much he and Obama swing their clubs, the American people get the shaft.

I played a lot when i lived in Utah. Got down to a 10 handicap, but the amount of time it took to get there was not worth it. Then I moved to Florida.. home of the most overrated courses on earth... and practically quit. Sailing is way more fun

I do know that schitty game cost a lot of money to just go hit a ball.....into a hole in the ground.
I can do that in my own backyard......with a baseball bat.

Exactly. The Trump spends too much money golfing articles are complete nonsense. If he spends 20 hours meeting with world leaders at a secure facility over a weekend, but manages to get in 2 or 3 holes (I'm not talking about grabbing anything) then the creative accounting puts all of the costs as a golf vacation. Most of the costs are fixed no matter where he is. The planes are fully staffed 24/7. The Secret Service draw their salaries no matter where he is. He's going to eat high end cuisine whether he's in a meeting room at Key Largo or sitting in the Lincoln bedroom in his underwear.

It's not like he could beat Kim young un anyway. I think VP is blowing the whole thing way out of proportion (shocking I know). Trump's playing for relaxation. Who GAF if he takes an extra shot?
Part of the reason I 'quit' golf is because too many hackers take it way too seriously. I was playing with a guy once that pulled out his brand new $300 enormous head driver and proceeded to hit his first ball into the gungula. He was cussing that club up and down. All I could do was laugh.
