Trump is in Sarasota today!

I was out earlier and saw tons of Trump flags. Even though it has been raining all day, they are expecting about 25,000 in attendance...OUTSIDE!
You sound as giddy as a pre-pubescent girl going to her first boy band concert.

When it comes to political rallies and politicians, regardless of party, I prefer to follow this wise prayer from Fiddler on the Roof

Neither Giuliani nor Powell (to the best of my knowledge) has shared any indication that they believed that Trump will be reinstated next month, which I believe was the original „fringe“ theory being discussed, so shall we agree to move the goalposts back to the back of the endzone where they belong. A LARGE number of Americans have concerns about the accuracy and legitimacy of the 2020 elections. Only a ridiculously small number believe Trump will miraculously be reinstalled prior to the next election.
This absurd belief began with Sidney Powell speaking at a rally!

No business pays tax on a business auto as leases are 100 percent tax deductible and you can write most SUVs that are owned off via 179 which is why we all lease porsches and own suvs.

Education is written off as 529.

His home is owned by the business and written off as a business asset.

Every single thing is tax deductible and legal.

Just because he does know the tax laws and you don’t doesn’t make it illegal.

Also he does not own the properties, the business does. I am guessing he rents the places he stays in at Margo largo and then writes it off as a business travel expense which again is legal as long as he is doing business while there.

Somewhere in that ramble, Trump admitted that he doesn't know them very well:

"I, don't even know what do you have to put? Does anybody know the answer to that stuff?"

Granted, this just points toward income tax evasion on the part of Trump's CFO, but still... it looks bad. How would you explain this away?

Trump personally signed tuition checks for CFO Allen Weisselberg's family members, prosecutors say

by Sonam Sheth and Jacob Shamsian .... July 1, 2021 3:55 PM

Former President Donald Trump personally signed tuition checks for Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg's family members, Manhattan prosecutors alleged in a 25-page indictment charging Weisselberg and the Trump Organization with 15 felony counts.

According to the document, one of the Weisselberg's family members started attending a Manhattan private school in 2012, and another one of his family members started attending the same school in 2014. Prosecutors said that from 2012 to 2017, "Trump Corporation personnel, including Weisselberg, arranged for tuition expenses for Weisselberg's family members to be paid by personal checks drawn on the account of and signed by Donald J. Trump, and later drawn on the account of the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust, dated April 7, 2017."

The indictment went on to say that although the tuition expenses for the Weisselberg family members constituted taxable income and were part of his annual compensation in internal company records, the "indirect compensation in the form of tuition payments was not included on Weisselberg's W-2 forms" or reported to federal, state or local tax authorities, "and no income taxes were withheld by the corporate defendants in connection with the tuition payments."

Prosecutors said that Weisselberg "intentionally" omitted the tuition payments from his personal tax returns even though he knew the payments "represented taxable income and were treated as compensation by the Trump Corporation in internal records."

Altogether, the indictment said, Weisselberg didn't pay taxes on $359,058 in tuition payments for his family members that he received from 2012 through 2017.

It appears the tuition was part of his benefits package and Weisselberg failed to include them in his filings. Has absolutely no bearing on Trump based on the article.

This is a big nothing.

The prosecution is simply trying to get weisselberg on something so he will turn states evidence and maybe admit something on Trump.

If after 5 years of active searching the DA only has this they have literally nothing.

It's clear cut income tax evasion on the part of Allen Weisselberg. That isn't "literally nothing".

It is on his part.

Absolutely nothing on Trump though.

And there are people walking around like al sharpton who evaded millions and are still free.

But it is nothing considering the DA has made it her life’s mission to take down Trump and all she got was tuition benefits not claimed. I doubt he will even see time over this.

Sorry but the DA failed.
