Per The Hill:

Donald Trump's new blog, which was called "From the Desk of Donald J. Trump" has been permanently shut down. It was removed from his personal site (donaldjtrump.com) along with all posts. This comes just one month after it was launched.

Congratulations. Your post wins the "This Didn't Age Well Award".

Donald Trump's new blog went over about as well as New Coke, the McDLT from McDonald's, Sony Betamax, the Galaxy Note 7, the Newton from Apple, the Ford Edsel and Touch of Yogurt Shampoo from Clairol.

Maybe Trump needs Twitter and Facebook a little more than what was initially believed? Not even Fox News paid any attention to this "blog".
CNN ratings have crashed since Donald Trump left the White House

How wrong am I again?

The news and social media need Trump more than he needs them. Right now, you can bet your tail someone is going after 150 million people who are not fully satisfied with their social media and news options.
By including "and social media". I think you could have deduced that on your own.

It has rebounded.... and Trump's blog was a bust. It had no presence on social media. Nobody was tweeting his blog posts, or discussing them on Facebook. That was a fast flop.
When they initiated this so called blog they forgot that Trump is basically illiterate. Try if you can to imagine a 2000 word essay entirely composed, written and punctuated by Donald J Trump. OMG

And went right back up
Did they decline and half of the assertion is still ongoing.. Being half or 3/4 right is better than most of what you guys spew on here. Is the Steele dossier factual?

Personally speaking, I never watched ANY cable news whatsoever until Trumps 2nd or 3rd year. It was like watching a bad car crash, I had to tune in to see what crazy, idiotic, divisive BS he was pushing, even though I didn't really want to see it. Now that Biden is in office I dont tune in as much. Maybe 15-20 minutes a day. Most days none.

Peak trump.
But I agree with whoever said it will do well. People on both sides will give him click constantly.

Really should just let him go.
I wouldn’t click on that site if you paid me. It will be banned on every electronic device in my house. Nothing sane could ever come from it so why waste the time? I certainly will not.

Jesucristo

Politicians are generally divisive and he was the most divisive. It's precisely how he drew people in. Politics is more about who you hate than who you like, unfortunately. Trump figured this out and went full-scale war against liberals, the media, establishment and anti-establishment Republicans who didn't kiss the ring, etc. You can feel however you want about this, but you can't say it wasn't divisive.

"“From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” was preceded in death by Trump Airlines, Trump beverages, Trump: The Game, numerous Trump casinos, Trump magazine, Trump Mortgage, Trump Steaks, a Trump travel website, Trump telecom, Trump University, and Trump Vodka. "

Copied from elsewhere and quite humorous.

So basically like all the carrier politicians who can’t make it in the real world.

Not to stand up for career politicians, but trump will forever wear the crown of the most incompetent at governing. Only thing he could get through a republican congress was a tax cut, the lowest hanging fruit possible.

I would also add the lesser known cycling race "Tour de Trump". It ran from 1989 to 1996 and was intended to become a North American cycling event which Trump said would rival the Tour de France. Alas, things didn't work out as planned.... fwiw, Lance Armstrong won the Tour de Trump twice.

I lived though Jimmy Carter.
Trump wasn’t great but let’s not pretend things were bad under trump.
