I believe he has been a traitor. And yes, when you stand up in front of the world and take an enemy's side over your own country, you are a traitor as far as I am concerned. Nixon was traitor. No one would have believed it at the time. No one is defensive but you. You're defending a coward and a traitor
The divide has always and will always be there. That is not the point....good grief.
Some people work to lessen or even bridge the divide, some (Trump) intentionally increase the divide for power and/or simply out of hatred and fear.
If you actually thing all politicians want to increase the divide equally to Trump, there's truly nothing to be said.
But I know you know better.
The President. Just defining his behavior. Sorry it makes you so angry that true patriots speak out against that coward and traitor that you so proudly support. I won't call you a coward or a traitor just because you're misguided and so proudly support him. You can't help it. It's obvious you don't know any better
When I was a student in the mid 70's I used to work a part-time job at a plastics factory off Cedar Bluff. The contestants have to agree on a time, and pick the actual Waffle House location. I'm just hoping for Papermill because it's not too far away. Of course Cedar Bluff or Lovell Rd. would work as well.
How many times have you seen in the PF someone say anti-Trumpers hate America?
How many times have you seen someone say "leftist" hate America?
How many times have you seen someone personally accuse me directly of hating America?
I can guarantee you that the right accuses the left of being un-American far more frequently than the reverse.
I do hope the fence sitters are paying close attention. Are you?
Speak for yourself. I agree with it. Example: Race relations deteriorated tremendously under Obama. That was a huge disappointment to me. I thought he had a golden opportunity to heal that divide and he blew it.
Obamacare was also hugely divisive. He crammed that through on a purely partisan vote. Doing that was very divisive.
Gordon Sondland was also fired today. According to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics, Gordon Sondland was 1 of only 47 people to donate $1 million or more to Donald Trump's presidential inaugural committee in 2017. Not all of Sondland's testimony before the House Oversight Committee reflected poorly on Donald Trump. Sondland was hired by Trump in the first place. He was a major supporter of Trump.
Gordon Sondland is a wealthy person. He doesn't need a job. However, such retaliation is both petty and vindictive. More than anything else, it just makes Trump look small.
What?
Sondland made a reckless assumption which makes him unfit to continue serving the man he imperiled with his assumption. There's no question he had to go.
Double that for Vindman, unelected bureaucrat whose psychotic break with reality is that he - or other un-elected bureaucrats - position U.S. policy rather than the person unilaterally endowed that power by our constitution.
On what planet are these people NOT frog-marched out??
When I was a student in the mid 70's I used to work a part-time job at a plastics factory off Cedar Bluff.
Getting to any of those Waffle Houses nowadays would be a bit of a hike from Houston.
So I'll just have to partake vicariously, from my perch here on VN.
