I don't want to state as a certainty she's 100% dodging Rogan and wanted a way out. Having said that I don't see any world where the lady that can't get through a short interview without it needing edited is going to make it through a long form unscripted sit down with someone that isn't a complete sycophant and not come out looking like a complete idiot.

I think your post gives some context to the dynamic that has gone unsaid.

Rogan is not a journalist. Rogan is an entertainer. The philosophy is different.

I'm not sure I've seen her actually make sense in context since the take down in July. I said in July should should be hiding in a basement, but even I didn't think she was this bad. This is like the worst kind of bad, at least Biden has a medical excuse.

What's different about it, tho? In both cases, entertainers and journalists are trying to do the biggest thing that gets the most eyeballs, so they can have the most prestige and make the most $.

Rogan really doesn't seem to care about much of that. Not even sure why there is even discussion on this. She doesn't want to be on the show. Nobody is going to miss anything other than 3 hours of cringy nonsense.

I may be wrong here, but it seems to me PJ and Huff are most often posting about the inconsistencies on the board when discussing the tribe we are for and the tribe we are against. With that said there is a no win situation wrt harris and rogan.

if she does the interview:
Rs = "she sux"
Ds = "she crushed it"
Rs = Rogan treated her with kid gloves
Ds - he was brutal and rude. his bias is showing.

if she doesn't
Rs - scared
Ds = logistics

I would absolutely love to watch her on Rogan. It would be complete edge of my seat. You have no idea what she might say after about 30 mins and she runs out of her canned answers and without a staffer to save her. It could go down as one of the most epic political interviews of all time. Like animals trapped in a bear trap, she might gnaw her own leg off to get out of the room with Rogan.

Well, I listened to Rogan for a couple years (I dropped off when he went exclusively to Spotify) and he likes pursuing interviews that interest him, and he likes getting big fish, and he likes appeasing his fans. Kamala checks every box.

I remember one time he interviewed some douchebag right-wing troll...some weird name like Sark the Arkanian or some **** like that. I can't figure it out through Google, but afterwards Rogan was like, "WTF was that fans? Why did you want that so bad?" but he did it because it checked one of the boxes.

Why wouldn't one of the boxes be "All you gotta do is come down here to the studio."? If that's a box he wants checked then then it's kinda up to him if the juice is worth the squeeze, right? Apparently it isn't so what's the big deal? He doesn't owe anybody anything.

there was one. because the guy was sick. and they did it over some video conferencing while Joe was still at his own place. that is hardly the win you think it is. because Joe was still at home.

IIRC Trump's interview was something like #2,000+ of the JRE. one variance due to sickness over all those examples hardly shows a pattern of breaking the JRE routine.

Kamala is also her own boss, making trips all over the place. she has even done several interviews in person, on someone else's location. there are far more examples of her breaking her "standard" than there is of Joe breaking his.

I am willing to bet real money it wasn't the location that was the real issue. it was the format that actually made a difference.
