New satellite images obtained exclusively by CNN reveal North Korea has significantly expanded a key long-range missile base located in the mountainous interior of the country, offering yet another reminder that diplomatic talks with the US have done little to prevent Kim Jong Un from pursuing his promise to mass produce and deploy the existing types of nuclear warheads in his arsenal.

There goes that Nobel Peace Prize.

Wonder when NK will let us inspect their new missile base expansions?

Maybe after two summits we'll at least have figured out what "denuclearize" means.

This world is crazy... we've got Biden falling up stairs and backing away from debates with Putin, but we're telling North Korea we're "ready to fight tonight". FOHWTBS...

SecDef Austin Warns North Korea: US "Ready To Fight Tonight" | ZeroHedge

Pyongyang on Thursday slammed what DPRK first vice foreign minister Choe Son Hui called a "lunatic" and "hostile" policy. The senior North Korean diplomat said of the question of denuclearization talks that there will be no contact with Washington "unless the US rolls back its hostile policy towards the DPRK."

She said further:
"Therefore, we will disregard such an attempt of the US in the future, too." The "new regime" in the US, she added, had only put forward a "lunatic theory of 'threat from north Korea' and groundless rhetoric about 'complete denuclearisation'".
The Biden administration has reportedly been attempting to reach out to the North via various diplomatic channels since mid-February, but to no avail.

Don’t worry they’ll cave here too soon. They went 0-2 today on being called pussies by China and Russia. Rocket Man will get the hat trick.

Remember when they mocked Trump for his stick and carrot approach? One of the reasons I somewhat supported those bloated Trump budgets. Military spending,, as awful ineffiecient as it is, but one of the basic aspects of our union. Respect, Fear and Benevolence into the proper ratio as a world leading nation, and Biden is -1.

Our enemies bitch slapped us today.

Meh, let's see how strongly you feel after a day like today once Kamala jumps in that chair. She'll hear stuff like you are spouting off and feel the need to prove something... show that she's a wartime president. And sadly, the media will back her if she slides face first into WWIII with N. Korea, China or Russia.

There's nothing wrong with diplomacy.

I think I got it... sorry if it came off as an attack. It seemed you begrudgingly took comfort in how the military was able to project power in the last administration.

I'm just saying in general, that we have some clowns in control right now that are more than willing to stir up a war just for the sake of trying to posture themselves or gain some clout.

Seems to me they’re more interested in waging war on the middle class and the US economy than having a coherent foreign policy which I have yet to hear any attempt to articulate and I don’t think they have one. I doubt JB or KH would start a war as a distraction because they have no shame and will continue to force feed their propaganda on the populace. But could they blunder us into a war unintentionally? Sure they could, they are that stupid.
