Trump set to announce an executive order against Volnation and other social media platforms.

They need to take their asses home. They don't have the right to burn and loot stores. Screw them, drop their asses. I don't care what color they are, every single person there are thugs
Justin, have you ever been shot at or shot at someone? I'm going to say no because of how brash you are about it, taking someones life is nothing to brag about or boast about. It's not a fun thing to do, in fact it haunts many people.

I would imagine having your business and community burned to the ground will haunt the business owners and people who live there and have to make a living there. Not sure why those people get ignored and don;t matter to you all

They do matter to me, they absolutely do but is looting punishable by death? This situation needs to be handled by arresting those involved, not "dropping them" as you like to say. Take them to jail and let the courts take care of it. I'm willing to bet you have broken some laws during your life time and were you "dropped"?

He was dropped on his head as a child, that much is sure.

I've never burned a store down. They can't arrest the black looters and the cops know it, that of course would be racist.

If the Republigoons don't like FB, Twitter and YouTube then go create conservative alternatives. Oh wait, they did. They all devolved into white supremacist/neo-nazi cesspools. Weird how that happens. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the underlying conservative ideologies.
I dont know if I would claiming any high ground based on social media populations.

I agree President Trump on this because Conservatives aren't being treated fairly by Facebook,Twitter and Youtube. This should be taken to the Supreme Court.
Actually, Zuckerberg has said that Facebook is not going to act as "the arbiter of truth". Which is his way of saying that Trump can post whatever he wants without worrying about content being edited or removed. Twitter is taking a different stance... but why shouldn't they have that right? If conservatives don't like Twitter, then conservatives should not use Twitter.

You're right to some degree, but echo chambers can get boring. Just depends on what your goals are I guess.

Classic example of which is VN, where people soil themselves if you try to introduce an opinion different from the mob.

What if they like twitter, post within the guidelines, yet are being selectively moderated while others are not?

It's called silencing Republicans and Conservatives and it's wrong unless you happen to be a Democrat or a Liberal and then you're probably for it 100%
Or you respect business rights. Anyone who posts on any one of those platforms chose to do so. They chose to do so knowing the rules, knowing what they were signing up for.

Also Rs/Conseratives arent a protected class. You havent been able to address that. What handicap does an R face that someone else in society doesnt. And no mean, mods doesnt count as a hardship.

It doesnt make sense to try and take some moral stance on what is an amoral situation. They could ban names that start with J, or posts that contain the word "day". They can do what they want.

If a baker has the right to refuse to bake cakes for a gay couple twitter has the right to ban posters it doesnt like either. As long they have some right to set rules of use, they can define it as they see fit.

And I love the complete abandonment of conversative ideas here. I appreciate all our new liberal Karens here in this thread.

Where’s the fact check disclaimer?

I think what cracks me up the most is that you guys aren't upset that he's lied, still lies and has no intention of stopping - it's that you guys are appalled that your whataboutisims are falling on deaf ears. Folks are tired of lowering their bars so that Donnie can keep crawling under it.

Not the way I understand it.
Wrong again:

Section 230 protect a blog host from liability for “any action voluntarily taken in good faith to restrict access to or availability of material that the provider or user considers to be obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable, whether or not such material is ...

Their ideas are whatever Trump tells them to think.

I know of no business or corporation that hires or refuses service to someone based on political beliefs....well maybe except in Silicon Valley. When offering a free public service it should be equality for all. If you want to discriminate charge a fee. Let’s see how that works out.
Terms of use. When you sign up you agree to play by their rules.

You are free to associate with them, and you are free to not associate with them. No need to protect all the Karen's out there from something they dont have to participate in.

Congrats on becoming what you hate.
