Trump Supporters Gathering in D.C. - Mayor Readies for Those ‘Seeking Confrontation’

what happened to him?

he got in a tussle with some protestors - happens every day in Portland.

I cannot imagine going around and being outraged at what happened to Sicknick and NOT being outraged at the attacks cops undergo daily in some Portland.

"whatabout" ism

The discussion is obviously on DC and not Portland. If you want to talk about officer Sicknick we can otherwise you are just playing whataboutism games

Can you imagine your wife/husband police officer going to work in the morning, you kiss them, tell them have a nice day. You watch on TV while they battle violent insurrectionists to protect our nation's Capitol.

He or she dies later that night and they tell you 3 months later it was "natural causes". WTFFFFF

Right, imagine the beginning of your story being the same except for being told by the media he was beat in the head repeatedly with a fire extinguisher and then the Democrats in government tell you the same. Then to find out all that was lie and your loved ones death was used to push petty partisan politics..... Talk about WTFFFF!

I am pretty sure the leading cause of cop deaths are health related, or car accidents (not involving a previous offense).

So I would say it's pretty common.

This is another sticking point. So far as I can tell this is the only police involved shooting that doesn't get public scrutiny and the internal review is shielded from the public. What possible reason exists to keep this from the public?

"She had it coming to her."

That's the answer you'll get.

can you imagine being the family member and seeing the news say he was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher when you know that he wasn't beaten with anything and you know he died of a stroke? His family was pushing back against the media narrative but the media ignored them.

you were duped by the media and now are claiming the medical examiner is lying because it clashes with the story you've bought into.

Stockholm Syndrome.

FYI

"Sicknick's own family kept urging the press to stop spreading this story because he called them the night of January 6 and told them he was fine — obviously inconsistent with the media's claim that he died by having his skull bashed in — and his own mother kept saying that she believed he died of a stroke."

“He wasn’t hit on the head, no. We think he had a stroke. But we don’t know anything for sure,” Sicknick told the Daily Mail. “We’d love to know what happened.”

On the same day it was reported that Brian Sicknick might have been hit in the head with a fire extinguisher, his brother, Ken Sicknick, told ProPublica that his brother had not been rushed to the hospital amid the rioting but texted him after he returned to his police

“He texted me last night and said, ‘I got pepper-sprayed twice,’ and he was in good shape,” Ken Sicknick said.

The major journalism outlets no longer do journalism. They are full time propagandists. It’s a bit frightening. I don’t think anything they say can be trusted anymore.

What's the Dem message these days, truth over facts. Or something like this.

They would rather be told beautiful lies rather than face ugly truths.

There was no insurrection and the only violence was the guy who killed Babbit for trespassing

What happened on January 6th was definitely NOT common
Jan 6th is nothing compared to when you all riot. No business was torched and no one died except a trespasser unlike when you all take to the streets. Just watch Minnesota as an example

The media fought so hard to push several false narratives that Trump supporters killed a Capitol officer
