However Obama's change was in thre direction of increased freedom. Steps backwards should always get a worse treatment

If anything, Obama should have been called out before that for pretending he was anti gay marriage. Him supporting gay marriage, while a political move, at least reflected his actual beliefs.

When it comes to Trump, we have no way to know. When confronted with this flip-flop in the past, Trump has lied and tried to claim that he has always been pro-life. Trump's fall back is not to use key words such as "evolved". His defense to anything is always to lie.

Trump plays only to his base. Evangelical Christians are a big component of his base. They actually believe you can have a legal abortion in New York State through the day before birth. Trump never corrects his base. Because he is a pathological liar he simply re inforces what the want to hear

Most think “planned parenthood” is only about abortions when in reality that is a miniscule portion of the otherwise really good services provided

I'm just as much in favor if your parent's had execised that option with you. Or at least gone to the drug store. That would have been better.

Obama's "evolution" was a lie. He just said it a way you found acceptable.
