Bad day for the President politically. Bad 6 coming years for the progs.
And Jack, keep hitting the bottle there in progressive Austin.
Donald Trump not only downplayed the magnitude of this (by all accounts, very complex) incursion, he also claimed that it was really China who was responsible for it. I don't believe for one minute that if Donald Trump honestly thought China was behind this latest cyber-attack, that he would be trying to publicly minimize the significance of it. If Donald Trump had been briefed with intelligence showing Chinese culpability, he would be shouting it from the rooftops and calling it an act of war, while simultaneously accusing Joe Biden and Rep. Eric Swalwell of enabling it to happen. Instead, he waited 5 days before responding to it at all.I'd love to see what Putin's got on Donnie.
Must be epic.
Very happy this Russian tool's time in the White House is ticking away...
"For the first time Saturday, Trump addressed the massive cyberattack on US government agencies, contradicting his own Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who said Friday that "we can now say pretty clearly that it was the Russians that engaged in this activity."
Trump, who has inexplicably proven unwilling to call out Russia or President Vladimir Putin for nefarious acts over the past four years, confounded national security experts on Saturday by tweeting that "it may be China" that is responsible for the attacks."

Your "what-about-ism" is not germane to the point here. This one specific cyber attack in question, appears to be a highly sophisticated and intrusive incursion into both the United States government and corporate apparatus. Once again, even though Trump's own Secretary of State (in this case, Mike Pompeo) has concluded that Russia was responsible, Trump is still not only downplaying the significance of the attack, but he is also contradicting his Secretary of State and siding with the Russian denial.umm we’ve been over this already. I posted several links about Chinese cyber attacks on us over the last couple of years. Where are all of this DJT tweets?

Trump always becomes highly defensive when presented with information regarding acts of Russian aggression. It doesn't make any sense as to why this is the case. It is weird.
