He doesn't have a point. They have no way to explain why Pompeo says it was the Russians, but Trump won't admit it. So like the rest of them he just throws out a "but Biden." At least he moved on from "but Obama" in the last four years.

Truthfully, most of them are probably secretly relived they don't have to keep living in a state of forced cognitive dissonance. No longer having to pretend that Trump was something more than who we always knew he was. I think many of them will be glad to move on, it has to be hard damn work carrying his water both ways, uphill.

Two simple questions, which need to be answered:

(1) Why does Trump always come to Russia's defense when an act of aggression on their part, comes to light?

and ...

(2) Why does Trump then become so dismissive of this act, and try so hard to down play it?

Even when it involves contradicting conclusions reached by his own intelligence community, Director of National Intelligence or Secretary of State, Trump will invariably side with Russia's denial. Trump becomes very defensive, even hostile, whenever reports of Russian aggression surface. Whether it's over the hacking of the DNC, bounties paid to the Taliban for killing American troops, or what is now being described as the most intrusive cyber-attack ever against the United States of America, Trump has remained consistent: he simply doesn't want to hear it, if it involves an act of aggression by Russia against the United States.

Anyone who places an allegiance to this country over their political party/president, should want to know why Trump is so reluctant to be critical of Putin, or to ever publicly call out Russia for their open hostilities against the United States. Can you imagine what Ronald Reagan would have thought of having a Republican President who was this deferential and soft in the face of Russian aggression? This isn't strength. Trump came into office looking weak and timid on Russia, and that is exactly how the "One Term Wonder" will leave. Good riddance to the Orange Coward.
