Trump goes to Iowa and BELLOWS that he wants a law that prevents immigrants from going on welfare for five years. That law already exists and has for years. That's the kind of gross dishonesty/ stupidity we get with this guy. I thought presidents had big staffs that prevent them from making blatantly fraudulent statements. Does anybody vet this moron?
He also said--bellowed--that the United States has the highest taxes in the world. Wrong. Lie. We're not even in the top 15. He also claimed he wasn't campaigning--but of course that's exactly what it was and the trip was paid for by Trump's campaign committee.
So, guys, stop pretending this kind of BS and idiocy is just politics as usual. He doesn't give a damn what he says because he knows his base doesn't give a damn either. This is like living through a reality TV show called "Revenge of angry old white rural people." They've found their standard-bearer--a loud, dishonest, buffoonish real estate developer (from New York, of all places)--and the more idiotic he is, the more they like him.
I don't, but I admit it has been fun watching the meltdown from your side. To their credit, republicans may have acted crazy during obama, but it wasn't as bad as democrats now.

You may but there are several here who defend every ridiculous thing Trump says/does.
