Trump's false claims about disaster response are beyond the pale

Trump's claim was that ALL of FEMA in North Carolina was acting politically. Trump was flat out lying. His claim was untrue. Republicans said so, from North Carolina.

Months later, a SINGLE employee was fired in Florida for skipping 20 houses.

They are not remotely the same thing. Only a complete farking moron would say they are the same thing.
And you and your media were claiming there were hoards of maga running around threatening FEMA. Flat put lying.

"Skipping" houses...but not "intentionally targeting houses with Trump support displayed".

I cannot tell who lies more, you or trump.

Oh, I think if you were even a little bit intellectually honest you know the answer. Trump by millions.

NYT Has Yet To Issue Correction For Wrongly Claiming Trump ‘falsely’ Accused FEMA Of Avoiding Supporters’ Storm-Ravaged Homes

A New York Times fact-check that claimed Donald Trump lied when he said FEMA deliberately neglected the storm-ravaged homes of his supporters has been debunked — but you’d never know it.

The “paper of record” has yet to publish a correction, even though the disaster agency last week revealed Trump was right all along.

The Oct. 4 Times article, entitled, “Trump’s False Claims About the Federal Response to Hurricane Helene,” has not been revised and remains published online even though it says the president-elect “falsely accused” the Biden administration of “neglecting areas that had voted for Republicans.”

FEMA employees in Lake Placid were instructed to “avoid homes advertising Trump.”

The federal disaster relief agency last week even sided with Trump, saying one of its employees, Marn’i Washington, gave workers in Lake Placid, Fla., the disturbing order to “avoid homes advertising Trump” in a “best practices” memo to employees obtained by Daily Wire.

The 39-year-old Washington also allegedly issued the cruel edict verbally to workers on the ground.

One of those workers wrote a message in FEMA’s tracking system about a skipped house, saying, “Trump sign no entry per leadership,” according to a screenshot obtained by the outlet.

I got the $750. A month later I got approved for lodging. My daughter filled her application EXACTLY like mine and was denied.
What town are you in? I’ve seen video after video on TikTok of the flood damage and it’s mind blowing. I don’t think most people realize the scale of what they’re looking at.

I’m in Greenville,SC. No flood damage just a lot of trees down and without power for a few days. Lost a good bit of food and that’s all I claimed. I wasn’t expecting to get anything. My daughter lives about 5 minutes away and did theirs the exact same as mine and was denied.

The argument against the point of it being 1 employee amongst however many in FEMA is at least two fold.
1. This was a supervisor of some level communicating with people below them as well. so not as singular as made out to be. also it was 20 impacted houses in an area, she wasn't just saying skip the Trump people in these 20 houses.
2. if it was a case of a bad sheep one would expect to find something similar amongst the however many FEMA but for Trump. is there an example of other FEMAites(?) FEMAians(?) being told to skip the Momala crowd or giving 20x to a Trump house?

as for Trump's lies of exaggeration, its on the same level as the media/Biden/FEMA claiming that zero of it was happening. both went to absolutes and were wrong. but instead of FEMA saying Trump is lying through exaggeration here are the actual numbers, its deny deny deny, oh we were caught, now we are looking into it, to it was this one case that has already been proven by others.

and its not like this is the only case where Trump has exaggerated the truth, and the media sold it as a total lie. instead of objectively looking into some pretty serious charges. for being a complete conspiracy/nut case Trump digs up enough partial truths where you would think a neutral media could make some serious news ferreting this stuff out before flattly rejecting it.

We used to stay at little place on the river right there at lake lure. I can only assume it is no longer there.

maybe LG actually stands for "Lousy Guesser".
He stated in another thread that “History will prove him right”.

I think he’s conceded any hope that he will be correct on anything in this life. He’s now hanging his hat on the idea that maybe many many years from now he might be right about something after he’s long gone.
