Trump's false claims about disaster response are beyond the pale

....waiting on Marni to produce emails, texts, and documents showing it was systemic. Without that, she sounds like she is trying to sidestep the behavior.
Yeah. I’m honestly not sure if it was isolated or not. But it wouldn’t surprise me. We’ve seen agencies weaponized to an unprecedented degree lately. We’ve also seen lawfare in this country that I’m still baffled by. I keep hearing how Trump is breeding distrust in our institutions and agencies. Nah bruh, they are doing that to themselves.

I have a feeling a lot of this chatter will ultimately die. Trumps gonna say or do something soon and that will be the story that dominates our lives. Just where we are at.

Trump's claim was that ALL of FEMA in North Carolina was acting politically. Trump was flat out lying. His claim was untrue. Republicans said so, from North Carolina.

Months later, a SINGLE employee was fired in Florida for skipping 20 houses.

They are not remotely the same thing. Only a complete farking moron would say they are the same thing.

Steps in Democrat Response to Democrat Malfeasance

1) it’s not happening. It is a conservative conspiracy theory.
2) it happened but it was an isolated incident
3) it happened in a few places; but it wasn’t widespread
4) it happened in a lot of places; but it wasn’t agency policy. Republicans are “seizing” on it.
5) it was agency policy; but they had no choice because (insert claim of some law Republicans either did or didn’t pass).

Lawgator and the rest are moving slowly from steps 2 to 3. But believe me when I say there are multiple more shoes to drop 😂

do you have a link that he said ALL of FEMA was acting politically or is that just how you interpret his comments?

Sounds like the Trump is wrong no illegal gangs are taking over a town in Colorado. Well it's not a town but only a handful of apartment complexes are being taken over.

The FEMA boss who was fired after ordering volunteers not to approach homes displaying Trump signs in Florida after Hurricane Milton has insisted her edict 'was not isolated' and also happened in North Carolina.

Speaking out for the first time since she was fired, Marn'i Washington accused the Federal Emergency Management Agency of 'lying' about the scandal, and making her the scapegoat of a wider practice.

Washington told DailyMail.com she is seeking an attorney and is 'at risk' as a result of the backlash she's received. 'I have information that proves FEMA is lying,' she said.

In a podcast appearance last night, she went further - claiming more FEMA employees are guilty of the same bias, but that she is the only one being hung out to dry.

'FEMA preaches avoidance first, and then de-escalation. This is not isolated. This is a colossal event of avoidance,' Washington said in an interview with YouTube podcaster Roland Martin.

'Not just in the state of Florida. You will find avoidance in the Carolinas,' she revealed.

She says she was directly following FEMA protocol when she issued the controversial directive.

Hiring an attorney. Blames agency. Claims not isolated to her.

I think we have all seen this movie before.

But you said there wasn't even a movie. That the script was all made up. Turns out that wasn't the case.

No, you are re-characterizing what I have said. There is one incidence of an employee in Florida using political criteria to offer aid. She's been fired. There is no evidence, PER GOP reps in North Carolina, of that happening on any organized basis, if at all. In fact they say not at all.

What you've done is ignore Trump's lies about North Carolina and seized on this later incident in Florida to gloss over any distinction between the two, just to minimize Trump's earlier lies.
Russian hoax?

No need. They got what they wanted.

This is just the tip of the Biden Crime Incorporated Iceberg. Over the next few months there are going to be so many scandals like this coming out that it is going to make the Nixon years look like a Church picnic by comparison.
Remember, the democrats are about to lose control of the DOJ. A lot of closets are going to be opened and they will contain more skeletons than the UT Body Farm

fify... as we don't want things to be "mis-characterized".

looking at this list again looks like a routine canned tailgate of safety preaching... one stands out lol

Buddy system
Avoid trump
De-escalate
Communicate and follow rules
Bring a towel
Take breaks and drink water
Watch what you eat

Why would I be ok about it? And you may be right as to the need to check how poorly she was supervised.

There is no evidence at the moment to support your claim it is systemic.
Right. If a leftist does something like this, she is a lone wolf bad actor. if a conservative does it, it goes all the way to Trump's desk.
