Trump won Texas by 14% this year and only by 5.5% in 2020. If anything it's getting redder.

Cornyn will smoke anybody who runs against him. Cruz is not very popular because he’s Cruz. Allred was a pretty decent Democrat candidate and is popular, much better than Robert Francis ever was, and Cruz still beat him. Texas has a slight purple shade only due to the large metropolitan areas but once you go state wide it’s solidly Red.

I consider Cruz to have one of the more punchable faces in the Senate and I still voted for him. When he’s in chambers doing his job he’s very effective. As soon as he gets within ten feet of a microphone and camera his brain turns to mush.

My older brother lived there the last few years he was with Exxon before retiring. I've spent some time around Ft Worth the last 20 years. His oldest daughter and husband live there too. Played some great courses around there and Dallas too

I've been very lucky to play some of the best old school clubs around there. Colonial, Shady Oaks, Ridglea, Preston Trail and a few of the better newer ones
