yeah, I don't see that mindset very much in the corporate world, what is good for the end user. You're way, way over LGing it. A business mindset in government would in a lot of cases consider what good are you doing for the taxpayer as the profit margin.
according to the Biden admin, you only get credit for hiring a minority if the only reason you are hiring them is because they are minority. them being independently qualified for the job outside of the skin color, actually counts against them. He’s got a YouTube page. I believe he’s a lawyer but would also check another box.
A good manager knows how to delegate and doesn't micromanage. When I was a JO in the Navy, I went to the Chief of the shop I was "in charge of", and told him that I would stay out of his way and that I knew he was the one really running things, but if he needed anything from up the chain I would go and get it for him. That relationship worked out pretty well. Maybe OZ will have the ability to do that sort of thing.ok what makes Oz a good leader? Hog was the one who brought up managers, so talk to him about what is helpful.
As an exampleI don't want there to be people with direct experience with the agency, but it would be nice if they actually worked with the agency before to know what needs to be fixed.
A heart surgeon TV host isn't going to have experience going through the paperwork to get claims paid by Medicare. Now if you told me it was Dr. Oz's admin/billing person, that would make much more sense. Oz is probably qualified to know what treatments are necessary and should be covered, but he isn't going know which 500 levels of red tape need to be cut out to smooth out the process. Know which bureaucratic loops need to be straightened out. which jobs are actually necessary, and which just serve to check a box.
Hell no! I want the ATF. I will not be polite, worried by anyone's feelings and will be hell bent on getting anyone who even farted in the direction of the 2A fired.I want Colion Noir as head of the ATF.
I don’t think so. At least not right now. He resigned from Congress when he accepted the nomination. I would guess if he decides to be sworn in for the next House since he won reelection it should absolutely be on the table. And I can’t wait for the hot takes on why it shouldn’t be released. “No no no that investigation was for the LAST Congress not the current Congress”so that means his ethics and investigation and report is back on?
good, if so.
