My point in making the thread was that the GOP leadership count on campaign contributions sometimes from groups that might be put off by Trump's easily manipulated adoration. Tell Trump you think he's great and you are a terrific guy.

I feel like we're off the rails here. My point was about what it is, not how it can be used politically. I'm saying people overreact with Omar and you're saying that's because people overreact in politics, but to me that is a separate conversation. People are wrong to overreact. Omar is a useful bogeyman because the panic she creates distracts from the things we should be united over, like runaway government.
