really grasping on that one

How so?

He states, "go check out sex tape."

That's what he said, using those words and in that order.

I mean, I doubt anyone is surprised - if this bozo will double down on smear and shame campaigns against a gold star family - why would anyone be surprised he'd tell us to go watch porn at 3 am?

Well, if the 3 am phone call does come to the White House, he'll probably be awake surfing Capn' Stabbin' videos. So there's a silver lining..

It was more for eradicating child porn.

I'd hope that everyone would be for eradicating it. Seems kind of pointless in that, who wouldn't sign that?

File that one between the eradicating elder abuse pledge and the eradication of genocide pledge.

Nobody and I mean nobody that's worth millions, let alone billions pays taxes like normal people. That's why they are rich. I didn't care about the Bush's tax returns. I didn't care about Bill or Obama's tax returns. I don't care about Trump or Hilarys tax returns. Frankly, if a potential presidents tax returns are a serious worry for you then you have serious problems.

Also, lets compare for a second. Trumps personal income tax records v Hilary Clinton's issues with classified United States material. Yeah I think I will take the deal maker.

What? Lol

why is it despicable to use legal means to not pay FEDERAL TAXES. i bet he paid a crap load of city, county and state taxes. i applaud him for not wasting money to the fed gov god.

We don't know if he paid any more city, state or county taxes than he did federal taxes. He could easily clear that up for us.

I'm not too concerned about his taxes though. Tax code is what it is. I'd like to see if he's borrowing money or doing business with entities that may be hostile to the US.

Trump tweets over the years about this very issue:
@BarackObama who wants to raise all our taxes, only pays 20.5% on $790k salary. http://1.usa.gov/HFZJKH Do as I say not as I do.

HALF of Americans don't pay income tax despite crippling govt debt...http://plu.damn/qLa
2:59 PM - 23 Feb 2012

"@conservativeJT: @bluejoni @realDonaldTrump Trump is an American that will pay more taxes in one year than you pay in your entire life.
6:50 AM - 28 Mar 2013

If @amazon ever had to pay fair taxes, its stock would crash and it would crumble like a paper bag. The @washingtonpost scam is saving it!
10:22 AM - 7 Dec 2015

More recently, Trump reiterated his criticism that 50 percent of Americans are free-riders, not contributing to society (presumably by not working and not paying taxes) and expecting to be taken care of by others. In a June 2015 interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Trump exclaimed,
The problem we have right now—we have a society that sits back and says we don't have to do anything. Eventually, the 50 percent cannot carry—and it's unfair to them—but cannot carry the other 50 percent.

He cannot have it both ways. The other people that have avoided taxes also did so legally. But he bashes them nonetheless for having done so out of undefined standards of "fairness."

And then he makes billions, and pays nothing, or close to it. Meanwhile, his campaign lackeys try to make the issue about the legality of what he did. Well, Trump has repeatedly said that is not the standard... for others.

Face it, the man is a charlatan.

and this is the lie that middle america is being forced to swallow. Poor people can't pay income taxes, rich people design the code with loopholes that benefit the wealthy and the middle foots the bill. Middle America is being screwed and they are apparently to dumb to realize it.

Not to dumb just powerless regardless of which party they vote for.

None of that would be in his tax returns.

Those who want to raise taxes on everyone are free to contribute more if they so wish.

And it's not hypocritical to criticize the system while also taking full advantage of it. Hate the game not the player.

No one wants to pay taxes, but he's certainly more capable of paying taxes than some. The rich shouldn't get a free pass.

That said, I tried to present a more unbiased view than what would have been presented if LG started the thread. I actually said I think Hillary has done far worse. It seems some posters have mistaken this as an attack on Trump rather than the comparison to Hillary t actually is.

Interest on business loans are tax deductible and would show up in his return. His son said his return is a stack of papers over 6ft tall. I think we could find out a lot about who he does business with.

I'm ok with that. Are you concerned what we're in HRC deleted emails as well?

Trump fires back after tax revelations

He used a legal means to escape taxes, but it's still despicable imo. But is it as despicable as the things Hillary has done? I don't think so. HRC supporters can try and trumpet her as innocent, but she hindered prosecution and put the nation's secrets at risk. I'm not even mentioning some of the more questionable things she's accused of, just what is known to be true.

I don't like Trump. I really wish we had a third, viable option. But between Trump and HRC, I still see Trump as the lesser of two evils.

Where is the outrage towards the govt in general on taxation imposed to its citizens...

It would really depend on how he takes his income from his business interests. Most likely he receives a salary from 1 maybe 2 and the rest he is receiving dividends. So not so much would be gleaned from his personal returns.

Of course I could be way off and his setup is something completely off the wall that puts his personal assets and income in jeopardy.

How to you feel about Bernie Sanders? He was looking to F over middle America than anyone. All we heard was free college! Free healthcare!

I was never a fan because the finances never worked out. I do believe in universal healthcare and that the US should significantly cut military spending.

In reality they don't, you know how many people they have to pay to avoid paying taxes? :)

I don't like that he's escaping paying taxes, even if it is legal. But the difference between Trump and those he's referring to is they take money from the govt. Trump doesn't need taxpayer money to make a living.
