TrumPutinGate

Well, well, well.

Looks like Schoolmarm Giuliani and the NY FBI field office are indeed being looked into afterall.

Comey, however, says he doesn't think there's anything to see there though.

Oh, Jim, you sly dog, you!

also we need some metric of when it becomes unacceptable. Does a President have to hit all 20 points before its unacceptable?

without some metric or guidelines to go off of you will continue to make up arguments that may not have any real bearing on anything. Right now its all a continuation of the same old arguments used by both sides. "Well he's worse than the last president we had in this category." "Well the last president was the worst we had in that category at the time." Well the president before that was the worst at the time too."

its all *itching and moaning and kicking the can down the road without first establishing what actually is acceptable. Neither side wants to establish what is actually acceptable because they know when then turn comes around their candidate will also be unacceptable.

The metric is increasingly being discussed. It will ultimately be set in the court of public opinion.

I didn't catch all of Comey's testimony this morning.

Can anyone confirm if he referenced meeting with two prosecutors in the Eastern District very briefly?

If so, that's important.

Looks like another win for my sources and another loss for the Gaggle of Goofs.

For those keeping count, the current score is:

Volprof's sources 12
Gaggle of Goofs -6.7

If I read this correctly, given my sources' claims, this could mean that not only is Schoolmarm Giuliani under investigation for potential illegal campaign interference but is also possibly under NY AG Scheiderman's RICO case:

The Donny and Giuliani crime partnership goes a ways back. It's quite possible that Giuliani even ends up being associated with the Russian mob, just like his crime partner, Donny.

The main reason is she's just unlikable.

I pick my doctor based on competence, not likeability. I pick a lawyer based on competence, not likeability. I pick my banker, mechanic, dry cleaner, grocer, teachers, accountants, and on and on based on competence and ability, not theatrics and social skills.

I would have hoped America generally speaking would do the same when it came to the person running the country.

My mistake, obviously.

Indeed he did.

When asked about Russia and DOJ, Comey said he was working with two prosecutors in the Eastern (VA) District, known as the "Rocket Docket."

Interesting. Maybe, just maybe, those federal grand juries do indeed exist.

And what made Hillary any more competent to run the country than any other candidate?

In your feverish psychotic state, anything you can imagine is considered "possible."

"Possible" and "likely" are not the same thing.

Apparently you don't use the same criteria when it comes to POTUS otherwise you'd never considered voting for Hillary or Obama.

And what made Hillary any more competent to run the country than any other candidate?

The only competent Dem that ran was Webb and he didn't make it past the first couple debates. Competence isn't a requirement when it comes to the DNC.

And LG, I really want to know how you check the "competence" of a dry cleaner and grocer.

Indeed.

So, let me change that.

It's likely Giuliani committed said crimes and is being investigated as such. It is also likely he is either taking a plea deal or going to get the hammer for criminality related to the election and for being a mobster, like Donny.

Good thing. It's hard to like a dishonest snake with no sense of right and wrong.

That a boy! Keep going far out on that limb of the crazy tree.
