CONFIRMED: Last week Comey asked Rod Rosenstein for more resources for investigation into Trump/Russia collusion.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said he's seen no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, accusing Democrats of pushing a "huge myth."
Paul said Democrats will now clamor for a special prosecutor to look into the matter following the firing of FBI Director James Comey.
"I don't think there's been any facts presented that anybody broke the law. ... I don't think there's any evidence that anybody broke the law," he said on "Fox & Friends" today.
Paul said he has not even heard an "accusation" on what crime Democrats believe may have been committed.
Is that real? Or a myth?
I can honestly say that, for the first time in my life, I'm ashamed of my country.
This fake presidency has been one embarrassment after the other, and, today, inviting the Russian Foreign Minister to the WH to crack jokes about our former FBI Director and his investigation into Russia/collusion the day after his firing by the individual who he was investigating....
I could have lived a thousand years and never once thought I would have witnessed a national embarrassment like that.
Evidently it's just good humor for the Russian patriots on here though.
On a related note, we're getting very, very close to obstructionville.
Donny better be very careful here, not that the Party of the Foreign Man's Dollar will do anything about it.
But perhaps the FBI and other patriots will.
Donny already committed one coup, when he came to power. Now, he's trying to cement his authority by committing another.
Whether we're still a nation of laws or have become Donny's authoritarian playground, we'll all know soon enough.
Made her hold his hand while walking down stairs. She apparently thought he was just joking at first. There's photos of them holding hands on stairs too, for visual proof.
Evidently it's just good humor for the Russian patriots on here though.
