This is as "Real news" of a source as you can get. I outright rejected the NYT or WaPo or whoever leaked the "Trump contacted other people to get FBI investigation to stop" story yesterday but this is a very serious charge from the former director of the CIA who would have first-hand knowledge of this.

3) Therefore reason to investigate nature of contact
4) Investigation(s) have yielded nothing

So in a nutshell Brennan said justifiable investigation seems to show no collision. Trump didn't try to influence one way or the other.

I agree that there's no "Substance" but this quote alone is troubling and should be for anyone.


"I saw interaction that in my mind raised questions of whether it was collusion," Brennan told Rep. Trey Gowdy, saying that he supported the FBI digging further.

Interaction does not imply "contact" it implies communication.


Trump needs to make some decisions. He needs to either publicly pressure Michael Flynn to testify (would only make him look GOOD if there's actually nothing going on) or he needs to have his administration turnover all communication documents.

He didn't try to put the kibosh on the investigation.

I'm not concerned however I do believe we need to have an investigation and am glad special council will be looking into it. I'm just tired of the falsehoods and exaggerations being thrown around as facts when we don't know the facts.

He confirmed that there was enough information to proceed with an investigation into collusion. Obviously, that investigation has not reached a conclusion yet. We don't know what Brennan is relaying to members of the House Committee in the classified settings.

I thought so, because this isn't faketrumpPutingate. This is the CIA director saying that he saw enough communication to think there could be collusion. Plus everytime I post in there people think I'm Volprof and that's just annoying.
