Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) is cautioning his Democratic colleagues that if President Trump is impeached, Vice President Pence would become president and he “would be worse” on domestic issues.

“He’s ideological, I consider him a zealot,” Franken told International Business Times in an interview published Monday. “And I think that in terms of a lot of domestic policy, [Pence] certainly would be worse than Trump.”

Franken said Pence, who ran Trump's transition team, was behind some of the “very worst” White House Cabinet nominees, including Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price and Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney.

No, what the DNC is hoping, praying and sacrificing a small animal in support of is finding any kind of impropriety at any level. Doesn't mean it can or will be directly linked to Trump. Just anything inside his campaign or Administration that can be twisted and used against him. The end goal is to run this along long enough for it to affect the 2018 elections. And during that campaign? I flat guarantee you the DNC will use every smear tactic they can in tying whatever candidate they can to Trump so long as that investigation is ongoing. Think McCarthyism on a wider scale.

Difference is, even with GOP control over everything they are still so internally divided they can't accomplish anything.

And by the way, the investigation "for a year" is a bit of an oversimplification. Special counsel has been going for 3 weeks. Let's see where we are, and whether Trump is even president in 6 months. I have my doubts.

Yeah, because I remember the GOP bringing forth the impeachment idea against Obama because of the birth certificate.

And it's not an "oversimplification." It has been going on for almost a year if not over. The investigation into collusion between the campaign and Russia that is. Do you honestly think if there was anything concrete the FBI, CIA, NSA and a whole hoop of three letter agencies wouldn't have come forward with prior to the Inauguration? Don't be daffy. Oh, sure, the special prosecutor is going to go over everything...again. And I'd prefer it that way. But the rest of my message stands.

Doesn't really matter what party you belong to. I vote the person not the party. Anyways, the divide between the extremely super rich and the extremely super poor is growing quicker than our nations debt. To me, there in lies the problem.

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who told ABC's "This Week" that "I think there is evidence" of Trump colluding with Moscow.

"I can’t go into the particulars of our closed investigation," Schiff said, "but I also think there is evidence of obstruction [of justice]. But in both cases, I would say, whether there is some evidence doesn’t mean there is proof beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Good grief this is a joke.
