TrumPutinGate

Nothing new, the right has investigated, demonized , character assassinated Clinton's for years and continues to beat the dead horse. The focus should be on the problems the country faces and how to solve them but the noise surrounding this admin is an impediment .

Sorry, but when you are looking for someone to demonize - without the need to lie - the Clintons are low hanging fruit. Most people would have to stoop to pick them.

You never chimed in on the question from yesterday (day before maybe) about Trump. Or did and I missed it in the VP/VV/Highchair drivel.

He is a buffoon, but is he an incompetent buffoon?

Time will tell if he's an incompetent buffoon. If the first six months is my only measure, then yes.

Let's unpack this shall we?

Allegedly Russia was the source of the DNC emails which they provided to Wikileaks. Accordingly, Wikileaks only receives that which Russia chooses to send them.

It's quite plausible (likely) that if Russia did hack HRC's official State Dept emails they'd want to keep that secret for their own use and to prevent revealing some of their methods.

You know Wikileaks doesn't do the hacking right?

Careful, you might go where Dims never want you to go - blackmail. They love the word when they can accuse someone like Flynn of "trading" thoughts with the Russians, but that offensive posture is more because deep down (for any Dim that can rub a couple of brain cells together) they fear what the Russians haven't given Wikileaks is real Hiliary blackmail fodder.

Nah, I'm always objective...well, almost. However, when Septic sees someone mention Trump in a positive light, it's like this:

It'll take some time to bring him around.

Even seeing the words "trump" and "positive" in the same sentence makes my eye twitch.

This is interesting. Hermitage Capital Management complaint.

First name on the list: Rinat Akhmetshin.

Mr. Akhmetshin is a former member of the Russian military intelligence services (GRU). He is now based in Washington DC as a lobbyist. He was previously hired by clients with the mandate to generate negative publicity. He was paid by a previous client to derail the US asylum application of a Russian citizen using false allegations of anti-Semitism. He has been accused of organizing, on behalf of Russian oligarch Andrey Melnichenko, for the computers of International Mineral Resources to be hacked to steal “confidential, personal and otherwise sensitive information” so that it could be disseminated.

The $230 million Russian Treasury fraud case being mentioned throughout the document...Ms. Veselnitskaya helped settle that case and it is now facingscrutiny by the House Judiciary Committee.

Jamie Gorelick, the lawyer representing White House senior adviser Jared Kushner on matters relating to the Russia investigation, said Friday she will leave. Gorelick said she is “wrapping up” her work for Kushner related to omissions he made on ethics and security-clearance disclosure forms. Replacing Gorelick is Abbe Lowell, a criminal-defense attorney who has represented high-profile clients including John Edwards and Jack Abramoff.
